My Perspective of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham

Overall Rating
It provides really great experience and the environment in Coimbatore. All the facilities are of top class. It has a very holistic approach towards life in which they will impart education. The atmosphere and the climate are excellent in Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. The basketball and volleyball courts are excellent and the main ground has excellent mountain views.
 

Academics Rating
Academics in Amrita are excellent. The syllabus is really good and up to the industry standards. You can enter Electronics, Aerospace and many other fields. The eligibility is through AIEEE examination and some percentage of students can appear through JEE Mains exam percentile.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are really helpful in academic work. Sometimes, they may go fast to complete the syllabus but as a student, you can have an open conversation with them and they will understand. They will also provide the advice and you need to implement the advice, then only you can improve yourself for your career.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, CIR (Corporate and industry relations) helps you to get into companies and help you to prepare for placement examinations. They also help the students in acquiring jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
The new hostels are much better as compared to the older ones. As I have talked to my classmates, they have said that girl's hostels are far better than boy’s hostels. The new hostel Kashyapa Bhavanam is excellent and has great standards. Bhrigu Bhavanam is also a great hostel. Canteen inside the hostel is really expensive.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 main buildings. AB-1, AB-2 and AB-3. AB-1 is the main block where all the administrative work happens. There are Mechanical, Aerospace, and Civil Departments here. In AB-2, Circuit Branches, Integrated, Chemical departments are present. AB-3 is dedicated for Computing. There are a lot of labs available inside academic Blocks and outside as well. Mechanical and Civil Labs are outside the academic block.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life is really interesting. During Gokulasthami, Anokha and many other small events occur in Amrita, Coimbatore. There are a lot of clubs that organize other fun activities. For example, there is an inter Amrita power lifting Competition. There is Ragasudha, Naadham, Natyasudha and several other clubs. The events are really good and you can enjoy your university life.

    Amrita Coimbatore campus is the top campus of all campuses. This campus has world-class infrastructure and all facilities. I chose this university because it has good curriculum and placements. The main difference between other universities is that this university is less crowded, cultured and strict. My experience is very nice in both academics and extra-curricular activities....     AVV Coimbatore is having high placements percentage and annually payment is high than other institutions. Infrastructure of the university is excellent. Instructions are very strict. In other universities, rules are not followed. My experience I enjoyed a lot in University by attending different kinds of fests. University gives wide range of priority to sports curriculum.     My overall experience in this university is something different any other university. It provides a dynamic environment to the students and exposes them to many opportunities. Students not only focus on academics but also get a chance to explore about themselves and learn more about themselves. Faculties here are more supportive than any other institutions.     AVV Coimbatore provides good placements. It has a good campus with mountains surrounded and overall has a nice climate. It has a different curriculum from other universities. The faculties are well experienced and friendly. The students get a nice exposure to different skill set of people very. The seniors are friendly and helpful to the juniors.
