My Memorable college life in Nadar Mahajana Sangam S Vellaichamy Nadar College

Overall Rating
I chose Nadar Mahajana Sangam S Vellaichamy Nadar College in 2013 for my undergraduate course in Bachelor of Commerce. Library had many books and it provides placement to all the students. Canteen food was hygienic, healthy and tasty with cheap for students. There are large playgrounds, football court along with volleyball court and gym for the sports volunteers.
 

Academics Rating
The entry requirement to get seat allotment in this college during my time was to have good marks (minimum 40%) in 12th standard. However, it was different for each department. My motive of enrolling this program is due to less tuition fees comparable to other colleges in Madurai.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members were well trained and have good knowledge in their respective subjects. The style of teaching differs for each faculty. All of them taught using blackboard, projector, and LCD projector. Majority of the staff at time had completed their PhD degree from reputed institutions and cleared competitive examinations.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell at my college. It was helpful for final year students during their campus drive.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, My college has hostels for both boys and girls. The hostel and mess fee was also comparatively less than other colleges. Non-vegetarian food was served on Wednesdays.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The college was founded in 1965 which means it is a quite old college in Madurai. Each year, the college buildings were renovated and repaired. The college campus is very big and has a very beautiful view. The infrastructure is simple but unique as the buildings are in good condition.
 

Campus Rating
In Nadar Mahajana Sangam S Vellaichamy Nadar College, each year there was annual day celebration, Independence day celebration, and sports day celebration. During those celebrations, all the students are engaged in various activities. There were many clubs in my college which encourage students to participate in extracurricular activities. My campus life was fully loaded with good memories.
