Maulana Azad College is the only one co-ed college under University of Calcutta students. It offers several courses at the cheapest fees. Our college is having NAAC accreditation with 'A' grade. All the professors of our department are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Each of them is having a Ph.D degree in their respective fields. Each classroom of our college is having projector, white and black boards and wooden benches. Most of the departments are air conditioned and have a proper high broadband connection. The whole college is completely green, neat and clean. Each corner of our college is under CCTV surveillance 24/7. The accessibility of books from Central library and department seminar library is genuinely easy. The seminar room is also awesome. In other words the whole campus of our college is extremely awesome. Our college is one of the oldest colleges of Kolkata having several notable alumni.

Right now as I am in 3rd semester or in 2nd year my curriculum is under in NEP or New Educational Policy of our Nation's education system. Its curriculum is known as CCF or Credit Course Curriculum Framework. This curriculum is definitely good and effective for our future because this curriculum is not only making us knowledgeable about our respective fields but also it is making us accustomed with the industry. In our times the admission procedure was only through the college portal but from this year the University has opened a centralize portal for the admission procedure.

All the professors of our department are extremely awesome, knowledgeable, talented and highly qualified. Each of them is having a Ph.D degree in their fields. They not only teaches us but they also guides us likes our parent. They are experienced teachers for a lot of years. Their style of teaching is extremely awesome and effective for our understanding.

Our college is having a placement cell. But that placement cell is in collaboration with internal quality assurance cell. Placements here are not that great.

A hostel named Bakar Hostel, which is at just 5 minutes walking distance from our college main gate. Our college offers students with residential facilities to stay in that hostel at cheapest price.

Our college is having a green campus provided with several plant species and AI supported eco friendly recyclable dustbin. The whole campus is neat and clean. The food quality of canteen is also good and it’s less in price. The common rooms are also good and each common room is attached with a gymnasium having all the equipment necessary for gym. The building is also extremely well maintained and the washrooms are also neat and clean.

The campus life of our college is extremely awesome. They are no sort of any annual fest in our college just like other colleges. But department freshers, farewells and seminars are arranged every year by department students and faculty members by themselves only. The most attractive thing of our college is that our college organises Sarasvati Puja and Iftar every year where students from all religion assemble together and enjoy the festival together.
