My Perspective of GSFC University

Overall Rating
Overall experience is good. You should choose this university because it is kind of good and has other activities. Other than studying, it has variety of clubs under which you can participate in various events.
 

Academics Rating
I am studying B.Sc Biotechnology. It is a 3 year (6 semesters) course. Eligibility: 10 + 2 with minimum 50 to 60%. It also provides scholarships. Entry requirement is nothing as such.
 

Faculty Rating
There are generally two teachers appointed for each subject. Faculties are nice. We also have lab sessions in which faculty give explanations and hand on experience. Each teacher is well qualified.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have placement cell at university. It does help students to acquire jobs in well developed companies with suitable packages.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, university provides residential facilities. It costs around 44000 rupees per semester which includes stay, food and electricity cost. It has good infrastructure.
 

Infrastructure Rating
We mainly have 3 buildings: 1 for School of Science, 2nd for School of Technology and 3rd is Anviksha which includes all laboratories of Biotechnology, Microbiology and Chemistry. It is also called ‘New Lab Building’ (NLB). Buildings are well developed and not that old. Each classroom has projector with many windows for air circulation.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is average. We do have many events, mostly talk shows being organized from time to time. We have a fest called ‘Ananta’ which is held every year may be for 2 or 3 days. We get certificates and credit for performing in events which is helpful.
