Good Institute

Overall Rating
Maharaja Surajmal Institute is a good for several programs like BBA, B.Com and B.Tech. Providing students great knowledge of their interested field and supporting environment. Infrastructure is decent as it was build around 25 years ago. You can't expect it to be like VIPS or IIIM but it is not that bad. Staff is pretty good at teaching their subjects.
 

Academics Rating
As a B.Com (H) student. The maximum rank needed is 2300 so, if you want seat on this one try to score less rank. B.Com (H) is pretty good course, you would be able to learn basics about everything and you can pursue masters in any stream you like.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are good. I am not facing any specific problem with them. They are also quite mastered in their own respective field. Well you can also text them your doubts during a time period in a day and they will reply if you have a genuine question.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a placement cell and I haven't met them yet so, I can't say anything about how much do they help.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is a residential facility in the Institute. I don't live in hostel so I have no idea about their life in hostel.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is good. The institute is spread in good area almost same in areas compared to DU. Washrooms are decent and there is no such problem with infrastructure. Some AC rooms are mediocre but fans do compensate for them most of the time.
 

Campus Rating
Overall campus life is good if a person wants to enjoy his/her college life they can enjoy it here as crowd is nice. There are some "people" in every college and they are here but they are quite okay compared to what I have seen in other colleges. Clubs, fests and activates are above avg.
