An honest review on PMEC, Brahmapur

Overall Rating
I selected this college according to my JEE rank and the college is really good. It’s the 3rd best college in our state and environment is also very satisfying. If you want to go to a college where campus life is best, then this is an ideal college.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in branches like Computer Science, JEE Mains rank around 1.7 lakh is required for general category. For other branches it goes to around 4 lakhs in General category. Enrollment is done through OJEE counseling. The curriculum is average, and the campus is amazing.
 

Faculty Rating
The teachers are friendly and cooperative. Some of them are highly educated i.e., from IIT and some are also pursuing their Ph.D degrees from foreign Universities like Harvard, MIT, and Oxford, etc.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is not so good so the students can look for opportunities outside campus. In our college approximately 20 out of 60 students per branch get placed and their salary range is around 3LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel is very good, and the mess food is tasty. Although I am a day scholar, but my friends say that hostel rooms and bathrooms are clean.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is fantastic. Every classroom and labs has AC. There is a canteen, utility block, bookstore, grocery store, Amul parlor and some fast-food stalls as well. We have a playground and gym in the campus premises as well.
 

Campus Rating
We certainly have the best campus life in the state. Once you came to the college you wouldn’t want to go home because the area is green and feels like you are near the mother nature. Every basic necessity is available in the campus so you will get a homely energy here. Overall, campus life in my college is very exciting and excellent. Academics can be improved.

    Parala Maharaja Engineering College BERHAMPUR is a very good college for B.Tech in the branch like civil and electrical. I opt for civil because I have a interest in civil engineering. The college has a better infrastructure and better faculty in civil that’s why I chose civil and this college has better infrastructure than other colleges like Indira Gandhi institute of technology Sarang.     As per me this is one of the best colleges in Odisha for engineering. It has some of the most advanced lab in the state. It has open gym for workout, for jogging and you could take care of your health as per your wish. It has large smart classrooms with high-tech facility.     Parala Maharaja Engineering College is situated in a greenery area. It is surrounded by different kind of trees. The atmosphere is also good. I loved being a part of this college.     Our college is best college in this area. Overall it has an excellent building, campus, most attractive garden, great environment, etc. It provides quality education, library system, and supportive professors.
