My Experience of Pursuing Diploma at BBIT, Vidhyanagar

Overall Rating
I've completed 3 years of my life in this institute, and it was one of the best experiences I had. There wasn't any particular reason of why I chose this institute except that it was affiliated to a public state university; but I do not regret the decision of taking admission in Bhailalbhai and Bhikhabhai Institute of Technology. If you want to take admission then I would say please do, because you will have a really fun academic experience.
 

Academics Rating
The course I was enrolled in was Diploma in Engineering (Polytechnic). The eligibility of the course is 10th or 10+2 with at least 60% marks. I wanted to pursue a degree afterwards and choosing the stream of 12th didn't seem much convenient to me as I was interested in Computer Technology. That is why I went for the Diploma course. It's a 3-year course which has 6 semesters, and they cover a year for a group project which you have to make using the knowledge you've gained till now. You'll get in depth experience on basic to moderate programming.
 

Faculty Rating
I had mixed feelings about the faculties of Bhailalbhai and Bhikhabhai Institute of Technology but most of them were good to the students. They will give you some helpful advice so please try to follow them. They are experienced, practical and help you solve any kind of doubts you have.
 

Placement Rating
As far as I know, there isn't any Placement Cell, but our institute has partnership with companies that do visit the campus for interviews, and you will have at least one chance of campus placement after the completion of diploma.
 

Hostel Rating
Personally, I haven't been to the hostel, but the hostel is very affordable and decent. It is just in front of institute and hence, there are no travel expenses. I don't think there's any mess in the hostel. As far as I’ve heard, the hostel seems to be fine. It has a huge backyard as well.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is not that huge but it's very lively for sure. It is just on the main street of the road and there are tons of food joints and all sorts of food and groceries around the institute for convenience. There's also a huge library, an internet lab, 2 computer labs and an electrical lab as well. Institute has a good garden for you to spend time with your friends and there are no restrictions. A wide space of parking is available and a decent gymnasium as well.
 

Campus Rating
For me, it was the best experience. It was even better than the school life I had. I definitely recommend making some good friends who will be with you throughout your life. There aren't any clubs, but events and fests are organised such as Creato, Hackathon, Navratri celebration, etc. The campus is not huge but trust me, you will have fun there.
