GECB is in Bikaner, it has a huge campus mostly covered with sand the main building is built in center of the area. It has different facilities like lecture halls, smart boards, water coolers, sports ground etc. It is affiliated with Bikaner Technical University. The admission process to the college is quite simple as it provides direct admissions with lot of teacher guidance and consultations and you can take admission via The REAP form also. The management of the college is supportive and friendly.

I am studying in electronics branch. The college as specific does not have any percentage criteria but to get branch like computer science you should at least have more than 85% as CS has a lot of admissions every year. I joined this course because electronic cars always fascinated me so in a dream to build one I took electronics. The subjects are vast covering different aspects of electronics from microcontrollers to circuits to machines for preparing you in different aspects of the course. Yes, electronics is one of the branch with promising job offers, if you become a true engineer you can ace any job you want.

We have approximately 40-50 faculties for the electronics course. There is vast number of highly educated faculties available in the college you can have 10-15 teachers experienced in teaching a same subject most of the faculties are from IITs and NITs each hold a minimum experience of 5 yrs. in teaching.

Regular internships are arranged by different cells working in the college with companies like BHEL, Internshala and many more. Big companies like Byju's, BHEL, Tata, Eicher visit the college for campus placements. The average pack at which students are placed is 1-2 lakh/annum.

There are three boys hostel in the campus separate for different yrs., there is no girls hostel in the campus it's in the construction phase for now girls hostel is in the city area. The per year hostel fee is around 60-70k two seater and three seater rooms are available in the hostels students live in the hostel mostly for a year . The food quality is not up to the mark. The hostels are not clean. There is good security in the girls' hostel but nothing as such for the boys' hostel.

The college buildings are scattered all over the campus area, different departments has their own area of work. There are different sections divided in the building. The dome is the main entrance area of the college it is a huge tomb type structure, the principal office, exam section and other important offices are situated in this area. It has a spacious underground library with computers to work on. There are many lecture halls with a capacity of 100 students each. It has electronically equipped and mechanical laboratories. There is a basketball court, badminton court and a playground. It has bank nearby and a canteen.

The college does not have a very happening college life; it's quite average and someday pretty boring. There are different clubs running in the college but due to many things they are not very active. There is NCC and NSS in the college which provides you a good exposure there are not many fests or celebrations in the college but sports events do take place in the college. The seniors are very helpful and supportive and with good people you can have a good time in the college.
