Faculty is the best part in Presidency University

Overall Rating
Overall, Presidency University is good. Even though it is not widely known, it is good and improving by the passing time. Education is good and teaching is good. Faculties help student in studies and improving themselves. There are many committees for student to participate. Overall, the university is good.
 

Academics Rating
BA LLB (Hons.) is my course. It includes subjects like Political Science, Sociology, Economic, Public Administration, International Realties, and Law related to society and Indian government and many more. People who are interested in Civil Service, Judiciary, Litigation, and Corporation can choose this course. It does not have any specification of stream to be chosen in 12th grade.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty helps in understanding of students. They work until making students’ understand the concept. They give enough illustration and examples for students to comprehend. These illustrations help in easier understanding of Law. They also give enough assignments for students to be aware of the topic and it is in the hands of students to make further understanding. Faculty clears doubt if students have any queries.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is placement cell in university. However, there are comparatively less placements in Law department. Nonetheless, it helps students during their final year.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is hostel facility in Presidency University. However, is not within the university compound. It is within 1 kilometer away from the university. Girl’s hostel and 1 one of boy’s hostels is located nearby. Hostel facility is good but price is bit high and food is not bad.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is not located in city it is outside city but its okay .Infrastructure is improving and construction is going on. Classrooms are good. There is no enough number of canteens, which may improve. In beginning, there was no lift facility but now there is access. Wi-Fi is also there with good range. Number of buildings in campus is increasing.
 

Campus Rating
There are enough number of clubs for students to participate. There is club competition to participate and show talent. Number of fests in university are less. Even if there is any big fest, students need to pay some specific amount in order to be part of it (participate or enjoy). It is always not much crowded.

    First of all, I chose Presidency University due to peaceful surroundings, infrastructure, and heard some good things from alumni of university. I joined in the year 2022 and I could not be happier with my decision. Overall experience of the university is good.
