BLDEACET: My Journey & Experience

Overall Rating
I opted this college in first round of government counseling. This is one of the best colleges in Vijayapur for Engineering. It has 7 to 8 branches and well-experienced lecturers. These experienced lecturers mold students. It has cultural fests and sports event. It has a huge library with all the books needed for students.
 

Academics Rating
There are many branches in this college. I opted for Electronics & Communication branch. My main motive was to be placed in product-based company but if not then this branch would definitely help me to get into service based one. The cutoff is around 40,000. Candidates with this ranking can get government seat in this college. It also has many quotas like SNQ, SC/ST, Management, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members for this branch were much experienced. They exactly knew what to teach and would appear in the exam. They managed to teach in any condition to help students understand the topics. Some of them are PhD holders and secured many awards in foreign countries. Everybody has different way of teaching. Some of them teach more theoretically whereas some opt for practical-based teaching. They also made sure that they complete the syllabus on time.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, there is a placement cell, which helps students to crack exams, interviews and other rounds to be placed and be successful. They offer many MNC's. Almost all the MNC's do visit here at the time of recruitment. Mostly, service-based companies came to the college as compared to the product-based ones. It would be better if students of all the branches get core companies so that they can excel in what they have actually learnt.
 

Hostel Rating
There are both boy’s and girl’s hostel. Boy’s hostel is inside the campus. On the contrary, girl’s hostel is away from the campus. Though, there is bus facility for girls to travel from hostel to college and back to their hostel. There are timing for both hostels and vans, which are strictly followed. Both the hostels provide good food and take the hostel attendance at night for confirmation. They do celebrate the fresher’s party, farewell party and all other festivals at the hostels.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are totally 2 buildings in BLDEACET. One for 1st year, and Architecture students and other for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year students. There are 4 blocks A, B, C and D block, where D is for 1st year students. There are laboratories and libraries in each department. It also has separate seminar hall, central library, and placement cell. There is also a separate computer block for 1st year students.
 

Campus Rating
BLDEACET is one among the top colleges in VTU. Some of the students have bagged VTU awards and ranked in the top when there was inspection. The college has Youth Fests, Cultural Team, and Sports Team. It also conducts Flash Mobs, Freshers, Farewell, and Sambrama, which is the main fest of college. Inter-branch sports competitions are also organized here. Cultural club takes auditions for creating a team. This club has also grabbed many youth fest awards in different colleges.
