Satisfactory experience at Meerut Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
My overall experience is good in this institute. There aren’t any criteria for admission and it very simple and easy. The infrastructure is good, but the campus size is very small. The faculties in the first year of B.Tech are the best. They are highly experienced, most of them are Ph.D holders and some of them are from IITs.
 

Academics Rating
The course curriculum is good, but the technical subjects are less as compared to other universities. There is total 3 exams before the semester exam, 2 are sessional and one is PUT. To appear for PUT, student must have 70% attendance record. Various scholarships are offered.
 

Faculty Rating
HOD and Dean of academics is very humble and helpful for the students. They focus on every single individual. The faculties of first year of the B.Tech are really good, and others are average.
 

Placement Rating
The placements were good before but from the last two years the scenario changed completely, and seniors were not satisfied but the institute made up for it and this time almost every student got placed from our institute. The average salary packages ranges from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. There are many top recruiting companies visiting for placements like TCS, Bosch, Accenture, Deloitte, AWS and many others. The institute also provides internship opportunities.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostel is average, but the room are good. There are two categories of rooms which is either double sharing or triple sharing. The facilities included in the room are beds, Table, chair, cupboard, washing machine, and geyser, and water cooler, availability of electricity 24x7, gym and a Wi-Fi. The mess quality is good, and you get 4 meals in a day. Each day, there is a separate menu for breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure needs renovation due lack of maintenance including the classrooms and the canteen.
 

Campus Rating
The institute is not large, and the campus life is average, but the Campus is filled with greenery. There should be clubs and other extracurricular activities in the university.

    My journey at Meerut Institute of Technology as a student has been awesome. The institute provide basic infrastructure including, labs, libraries, and hostels but maintenance are needed in some areas. The teacher in my institute is very well educated from top recognized universities. The placement cell occasionally organizes internship drive where companies visit the campus to recruit interns....
