The campus has discipline wave throughout i.e. strictness for attending classes and punctuality and compulsion of sitting in final semester exams. The celebration of various festivals and the quarterly/ annual fests held were a lot of fun. The competitions on various functional occasions held were a lot of fun to be engaged in.

The total approximate fee I paid for my 4-year course was Rs. 300000 or ~95000 per year. The eligibility for the course is PCM in 10+2 and an overall result above 65% in boards. There are scholarships based on the percentage and the maximum scholarship went upto Rs. 10000 - 15000. I choose this course as I wanted to be a frontend/ full stack developer and this course provides perfect base for the same.

The faculty was good, experienced and taught in a very well mannered. The notes, extra sites to take reference and books were also provided by the teachers. The teachers took doubts of the students and explained them in an understandable way.

Yes, campus has a placement cell. The students become eligible for placements from 6th semester. The companies that visit campus during placement drive and take aptitude test as the basis of selection for second round. the campus prepares students for aptitude test via various workshops held after/within the college hours. The companies that mostly visited the campus were based out of Mohali, Chandigarh and approximately 85% of the total students were placed. The minimum package offered was 2.5 LPA and the maximum package offered was of 5 LPA. The roles offered were frontend developer, backend developer, full-stack developer, and cyber security.

Yes, LKCTC includes residential facilities. the girl’s hostel was within the campus, but boy’s hostel was at a walking distance from campus. The infrastructure of hostel is quiet good and food provided was good.

The campus had 4 buildings. First building was for B.Tech first year students, and second was for the B.Tech 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students. The third and the fourth buildings were for Hotel Management and IMT. The infrastructure was good. There was quiet a big space for parking of vehicles. The campus ground was also quiet big and well kept. The classrooms were also big, spacious, and hygienic equipped with smart boards and ACs. The campus was equipped with labs along with good quantity of monitors for programming practice. The library was equipped with all books required during ongoing course and students could lend the books for a maximum of 2 weeks per entry on their library card. The campus had 2 cafeterias and the food provided in both was good and had good sitting arrangements.

The campus life was quiet good. There is a chowpati (a place with many food stalls) at a walking distance of approximately 100-50 meters from the campus, which was daily hangout spot for most of the students. The campus was surrounded by 2 parks on both the sides, which was also a good hangout place for many students. There was an annual mela held in campus itself, which had rides and food stalls. The festivals like Holi, Basant Panchami, and Diwali were celebrated with great joy.
