Good campus life with Academics and Placements

Overall Rating
My experience at SKN Sinhgad College of Engineering Korti has been positive overall. The college offers decent academics with supportive faculty and good hands-on lab sessions. Placements are satisfactory, though core electronic roles are limited. The campus life is enjoyable, with regular events and a friendly crowd. It’s a good option for affordable Engineering education.
 

Academics Rating
The ENTC course in this college focuses on ENTC fundamentals covering subjects like embedded systems, VLSI, ECAD, communication systems, etc. The Eligibility criteria require a 10+2 qualification with physics, chemistry and math along with a valid score in entrance exams like MHT-CET or JEE. I chose this program for a balanced approach to electronics and IT, offering diverse career opportunities in both core and software fields.
 

Faculty Rating
The ENTC and overall college faculty at SKN SCOE is well-qualified with a mix of academic and industry experience. They are supportive towards the students and provide good guidance. Also, some of them give practical knowledge as well. While the teaching style varies from teacher to teacher, regular participation helps students gain a solid understanding of the subjects.
 

Placement Rating
SKNSCOE has a Placement Cell that actively works to help students secure jobs. Nearly 50-60 % of the students got placed in the college. It connects with companies like TCS, Infosys and Capgemini for campus placements and conducts training sessions on aptitude, communication, and technical skills. It offers decent opportunities, especially in IT and also for students aiming for core Engineering fields.
 

Hostel Rating
The college provides hostel facilities with shared rooms for 4 students in each room and basic amenities. The mess offers simple veg Indian food and a canteen option is also available. Hostel life is nice. Maintenance and food variety are good and manageable.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is well - structured with dedicated academic blocks for different departments. The building is spacious with well equipped labs, classrooms, and seminar halls. The library is stocked with books and digital resources. The amenities include Wi-Fi in key areas, sports facilities, a canteen and a small medical center for small health care. The campus has been clean and green providing a peaceful space for learning and extracurricular activities.
 

Campus Rating
The Campus life is vibrant and engaging with a diverse crowd of students from various regions. They organise technical fests, cultural programs, and sports meets, where students can showcase their talents. There are various clubs for extracurricular activities, such as technical clubs, sports and cultural groups, allowing students to get involved and develop new skills.
