Swami Shraddhanand College: My Honest Thoughts About My College

Overall Rating
I was allotted this college according to my CUET marks. Earlier I did not like this college but some special things about this college impressed me due to which I decided to study here. Like this is quite affordable compared to other colleges, my annual fees is around 14 thousand which is quite affordable, along with that the nature of the teachers here is also very good.
 

Academics Rating
For admission in this college, one has to give entrance test after which students have to select the colleges according to their interest and then according to the marks of the students, the college is provided to them. Along with this course, the university also provides many extra subjects to the students which develop the skills of the students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are all Ph.D holders in their respective subjects. Teachers teach students through practical examples so that students can understand the topic better. All teachers remain connected with students so that students can share their problems with them without fear. Along with these, teachers also share experiences from their life with students so that students can learn from them and implement it in their life.
 

Placement Rating
There is no official placement cell in our college, this year a demand for a placement cell was made by the seniors and a placement cell is being created.
 

Hostel Rating
There is no hostel in the campus but there are many private hostels outside the college which are quite good and affordable where students get facilities like clean room, gym, mess, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of the new building is quite good, the classrooms are quite big, labs are also present, and the ground is very big. The largest library in the entire university is present in our college itself. The condition of the old building is a bit bad but this has also been resolved. Since last year, another building is being constructed in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is very good, events keep happening every few days in the college which is fun. Many clubs and societies are also present in the college like Pravaad (Debating Society), Dance Society, Music Society, etc. There is a college fest once a year, which happens in March or April, in which a celebrity is also invited.

The College focuses on both the academics and the extracurricular activities. It provides good sports facilities to the students.     My overall experience at Swami Shraddhanand College New Delhi has been average. The faculty is good for all the courses in this College. If I talk about the infrastructure, there are two old buildings and one new building which is great in terms of space. There is also a new building under construction which will further enhance the infrastructure of our College.
