I never felt like I was studying in an all-girls college!

Getting enrolled in 'Tagore' was a whole new experience for me because I have never studied in an all-girls environment ever. I wanted a different experience in my College life which I got to have here. The procedures regarding admissions and management are something in which bigger Colleges lack sometimes. The teachers are cooperative and have subject expertise!
I always wanted to become a writer and editor, so I decided to go for the degree of B. A in English Literature. No entrance exam was held, and an easy admission procedure was there. The courses and teaching patterns are exceptional. Also, the course was well structured and none of us had to bother learning it from somewhere else. English Literature is very important for students who see their future in a particular area of a professorship or something.
There are up to 20-30 faculty members for different streams and subjects. All are highly qualified subject experts in their fields. Teachers are so cooperative and especially in English Literature teachers used to focus on different timelines of it along with the writers and poets.
There are not any on-campus placements taking place, but once completing the degree, one can easily find a decent off-campus placement.
There are no such facilities in our College, but one can easily take shelter in the PGs that can be found anywhere around the College.
The only thing that matters is the environment and the Infrastructure after studies and teachers and no doubt the Infrastructure is outstanding. Tagore College stands in a vast area in Vaishali Nagar. We used to enjoy the smart class, used to play Badminton and other games in the sports room. Also, there is a big library loaded with interesting books and magazines. An auditorium where freshers and farewell parties are held every year. Teacher's day is celebrated with great pomp and show. There is a proper conveyance facility along with students' safety. Chemistry labs and medical rooms are also available.
The growth of the students will always be there due to the plethora of opportunities and well-structured courses. Tagore has always played an active role in my life. Different seminars were held; NSS camps used to be there; Freshers and Farewell Party were organized every year. Festivals were also celebrated. All around the year the days are filled with different activities and competitions like Mehendi, drawing, sketching and poem writing. Activities like cooking special dishes for the Principal used to take place.
