Overall Rating
Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is Madhya Pradesh’s top government college. The campus is of 37 acres. Campus is full of greenery. For some students, campus might be small but it has various sports facilities such as basketball, football, volleyball court, and tennis courts. For indoor games we have separate area for badminton and table tennis. The institute’s Silveria building is the spot where most of the events are organised. The institute also has a gymnasium with lots of exercising tools. Dining 91 is also is in the campus.
 

Academics Rating
You need the pass JEE exam to get admission in B.Tech course. JEE rank is used for the admission according to category. Relaxation is provided on the basis of category. The placement is awesome in this college and you will be going to learn more and more here. The idea and CIDI labs in the institute help the students to enhance their capabilities. Institute has many clubs including GS motors and all.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is very amazing. They teach very well that we don't have to study at home. Knowledge is very practical and professors are very friendly and they always encourage us. Assignments they provide are also very helpful and they always want us to learn something new and innovative. I thought that the teachers will be boring but here the reality is just opposite. All of them are very charming.
 

Placement Rating
Of course we have placement cell and it really helps students to acquire jobs in the industry.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, we have hostel in the campus for both girls and boys.
 

Infrastructure Rating
As the institute established in 1952 so the infrastructure is quite old but The ATC and LT building's infrastructure is far better. Mechanical department is the oldest department. Hostels infrastructure is also old but some building are newly made and looks like a hotel. The view is fantastic. Basketball court is quite interesting.
 

Campus Rating
In B.Tech first year 2024-25 batches, around 1100 students are enrolled, so of course the place is crowded and there are so many clubs which helps students to upgrade their passion in fields rather than study. There is a GS motor sports club which is very helpful especially for mechanical department students. Several other clubs that are present here are Kshitij, Pratibimb, Nature Club and especially Alumni Association Club.

    There is no doubt that SGSITS is the best engineering institute in Madhya Pradesh. The placement is very good. In some cases, it is also comparative to some NITs.     SGSITS is better than other institute in placement, academics, faculty, infrastructure, etc. The only reason to choose this institute is package, which attracts me the most.     It is one of the most popular and oldest institutes in MP. As it provides number of courses in which students can enroll. The campus is not so big but good enough with all facilities.     This institute is for B.Tech. The academics of this institute are highly excellent with good placement. The placement is about 80% of this institute.
