The college is among the autonomous colleges in Tamil Nadu that offers quality education. My time until now in this college has been a pleasant one. The College infrastructure is pretty normal, and the curriculum is similar to that of the Central University and Anna university. The faculty and management are pretty good with decent teaching. The Chemical Department is among the longest running departments and many students interested in the Chemical department and research want to take admission here.

The course I am pursuing is B.Tech Chemical Engineering and the entry requirement and Eligibility is that the student should pass HSC or have done a Diploma in Chemical Engineering. The age of the candidate should be less than 22 for UG. Candidates who are interested in Chemistry, research in Chemistry, Nano technology and other related things can happily enroll into the college.

The faculties of the department are very lively and have good personalities except a few. The college staff meet all the requirements to deliver good teaching. The highly qualified faculties have good knowledge in all aspects of their specified fields and in extracurricular activities. They have good academic and professional backgrounds. The faculties are also approachable.

We have a good Placement Cell in Erode Sengunthar Engineering College, and they literally focus on building up students’ skills and profiles to meet their job needs. They firmly promote placement training from semester 1 with prompt training in aptitude in each and every semester. The final year students receive specialized placement training for over 3 months.

The hostel life is very pleasant as the students are friendly. The infrastructure of the hostel is pretty good with average construction and maintenance. There is a Wi-Fi facility and RO installed on each and every floor.

The campus boasts a soon to be completed grand gate with a large LED screen at the frontal junction. Erode Sengunthar Engineering College has a large Main block that comprises the management, principal, chairman, trust offices along with the CSE department. Then there come two large blocks that comprises ECE, EIE, Civil & Agriculture departments. In the back side, there is a combined building of Chemical Engineering and EEE. To the left of the blocks exists the newly built block of the College, CNC. This block supports a 4-story building with CNC machines on the first floor, Robotics and automation on the second floor, AR VR lab, gaming development and VFX development followed by Entrepreneurship Development Cell in the top floor. There is a Mechanical block that houses AI & DS, CSD, Mechanical Engineering, etc. There is an auditorium situated beside the Chemical block that is large enough to support more than 1,000 people. Further apart is the BME block that hosts all the First-year students along with the Bio medical department.

The campus life is pretty good. Due to the college being situated in a distant village and the transportation facility not being up the mark, students might enter the class late. The College hosts several clubs. Cultural and festive activities are conducted only in a little amount but events like workshops, seminars, webinars, conferences and other activities are conducted in the college. Engagement activities include music, dance, library, sports, etc.
