Overall Rating
Indian Maritime University made me realize my strength, weakness and what are the areas that I can improve in. It gives me exposure in many fields and provides way to select my field, grow and reach at the top. It transitioned me from an ordinary village boy to a confident, clear and informative developed person who at least has exposure of many areas of work. Overall life at IMU was enjoyable and happening.
 

Academics Rating
The academic procedure at Indian Maritime University follows the graduation rules decided by the port and shipping authority. The curriculum is pretty similar to undergraduate degree with the enhanced and modified syllabus related to shipping. This provides opportunity to meet, greet and enhance your knowledge related to marine field with great professionals working in the industry. The academic of IMU will make you stronger in the field of maritime and transform you from nothing to something.
 

Faculty Rating
A good guidance is what everyone needs for their development and this University provides guide and mentors like your friends. They are lenient and expressive, supportive and will provide you the crystal clear image of results of what you going to do. I'll suggest people to please consult and imagine results of your next move with the experience of their guide. They treat you as your friends not as senior faculty.
 

Placement Rating
That's very important area which we all focus before taking admission. So I'll tell you the reality that Indian Maritime University tries to place every student but not everyone gets placed. They bring companies and provide opportunities to students grabbing that opportunity is your responsibility. Those who are well and serious with their academics definitely get jobs. The name of this University is pretty reputed and known.
 

Infrastructure Rating
A strong infrastructure with the help of its main campus. Indian Maritime University has nice and enough area of study with air conditioning classrooms, auditorium and library. The management of University is pretty good. They provide help in each and every way. They all are a supportive. The area of the campus consists of a mess, computer lab, library, auditorium, air conditioning classrooms, volleyball, basketball, cricket and football grounds. It’s situated near the Indian Navy property.
 

Campus Rating
The three years of my University life was interesting and enjoying. The University is near to the city and the places to sit and enjoy are nicer. Every day in campus feels like interesting except some day. The festival celebration, seminars, events and many students oriented program made it interesting. If you communicate and try to be little extrovert you'll never feel bore and it will provide you many learning’s of life in fun way.
