ASU Gurgaon: Eligibility Criteria & Admission Process for B.A. LL.B

My experience at Apeejay Stya University, Gurgaon is unique, as it provides me an environment to excel academically and enhanced my skills like critical thinking, leadership, and teamwork. Surely, these skills will help me really well in the future. The supportive faculty and mentors also encouraged me to explore my passion. The main factors to choose this university were the affordable fee structure and good reviews. I would like to suggest this university to other students as well.

The thing which motivated me to choose the course B.A.LL.B was my interest in Law. This course serves a blend of legal studies and Humanity subjects. My goal is to contribute to the society by promoting justice and awareness. To be eligible to enroll into an integrated course, a student must complete his class 12th boards with a minimum of 50% and clear CLAT entrance exam. There are no age limits as such but as per my knowledge it is 20 years for a general category student and 22 years for a reserved category student. Documents required for admission are class 12th and class 10th mark sheets, valid identity proof, and entrance exam result. Academics prepare us really well for real life challenges. Moot courts and client counseling provide us practical experiences.

Faculties at ASU Gurgaon are very supportive and very kind. They are highly skilled and very knowledgeable. They prefer whiteboards and PPTs for lectures. Teachers make lectures very interesting and engaging. Students can ask for the help at any time, faculties are always there to help. Each student will be provided with one particular mentor, who will handle all the issues of the student.

Since, I’m still pursuing my course so, I didn’t sit for placements. Teachers and placement cell help students get their desired internships.

There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostel infrastructure is good, as it is fully furnished. The food quality and menu both are good. The hostel fee for double seater AC rooms is around Rs. 1,50,000 and for non AC rooms it is around Rs. 1,00,000. Hostels are good; I am satisfied with the facilities they provide.

The campus infrastructure is good. Classrooms are spacious and well equipped with modern technology to aid in lectures. There are 2 canteens in the campus. Here you can get delicious snacks and mouth watering breakfast and lunch as well. There is a moot court and a library with all course and some non course books. Library also has access to internet services and its computers are linked with websites like ‘Manupatra’. My favorite part of the campus is the library and moot court room.

The overall campus life is vibrant and engaging; offering a mix of academics and extracurricular clubs, such as rotaract club, thespian club, dance club, literary club, bioscope club, etc. Various competitions are also held here, such as talent hunts and sports events. Festivals like, Diwali, Dusshera, Navratri dandiya, etc. are also celebrated here. I've been a part of various events and experienced many wonderful moments. The crowd at ASU Gurgaon is common just like other universities but students here does not involve in any sort of ragging. We have very humble seniors and batch mates here. My college life is going great.
