My 3-Year Experience in MAHER Chennai

Overall Rating
You can choose MAHER Chennai without anything to worry about. The education is good. This college recently got accredited t NAAC (A++). The students are good. The academic is good. The campus environment is good. You can opt for it. The campus is really neat & clean. You can enjoy the view while eating your lunch. Overall, it's a good experience.
 

Academics Rating
The academics are good. The course that I've enrolled in is good. This course has something different from other B.Com courses. It gives you opportunity to excellent in your desired career. I've chosen B.Com with Corporate Secretaryship in this college. Until now, I've been passing in every semester.
My fee per semester is Rs. 27,500 and my overall yearly fee is Rs. 55,000 until last year. Students who are going to enroll in this university from June 2025 are going to have higher fee as it will go up to Rs. 37,500 per semester. With that, you should pay for exam fee, which costs Rs. 4,400 until this year. But I don't know about it in upcoming years. Scholarship is there for students who are eligible in criteria such as 90% above in board exams, SC/ST who scored above 60% in board exams, single parent, first graduate, siblings quota, etc.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculties are somewhat good. They are somewhat strict but have good knowledge.
 

Placement Rating
The placements were conducted for us during December 2024. It was good and most students came from the other colleges. Most of them have been placed in their first try. It's not tough. Hope you'll also be placed. Wishing you a better luck.
 

Hostel Rating
I don't know about hostels of MAHER Chennai, as I'm a day scholar. But the hostels are nearer to the college. So you don't have to worry about it. They're providing you with good food and accommodation. Don't worry about it. Hostel charges may vary from Rs. 25,000 to 35,000 per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus size is somewhat big. The auditorium will win your heart. It is renovated and now it looks like a theatre from the inside. If you got a chance to see, visit our auditorium. But it only has space for around 200 seats for the students. Canteen is also there in the premises. We also have Physiotherapy team in the ground floor. If you ever injured yourself, you can rush to the Physiotherapy department and they'll cure you with medicines.
 

Campus Rating
Yeah, the college life is better. It feels like I've just joined college now but it's been 3 years. You too will get your college life passing too quickly. Just participate in every event's they'll provide you certificates, medals, and so on. There are clubs and you can join them too.
