HITAM Hyderabad: Admission Process, Fees, and Scholarships

Hyderabad Institute of Technology and Management is better than other private institutes because it enables overall growth the students. The institute has qualified faculty which offers good quality education to the students. I chose this institute because of its remarkable infrastructure which is surrounded by greenery. The institute is eco-friendly and it has achieved a silver rating for its sustainability. The institute offers exceptional facilities and the campus life is also good.

I have completed Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (AI & ML) from this institute. Students should choose the course according to their interest. I would recommend the AIML course because AI technology will be very impactful in our future. Students need to qualify the TS-EAMCET exam to get admission in this institute. They can also get admission through the management quota. The admission process is very simple. You just have to visit the institute where the management will clearly explain everything. 2 mid-semester and 1 end-semester exam along with external lab test are conducted every semester. The institute also has various student chapters like IUCEE through which students can get various certification programs.

The fee for B.Tech in AI & ML course is about Rs. 90,000, which is applicable for management quota students. The tuition fee of non-management seat varies for different caste categories. For SC / ST category the tuition fee is Rs. 5,000, for BC category it is Rs. 55,000, and for unreserved category it is approximately Rs. 65,000 to 75,000. The institute charges university fee which is Rs. 10,000. In addition to this, I also paid Rs. 20,000 at the time of admission for miscellaneous charges such as ID card charges, book fee, etc. SC and ST students can get full fee reimbursement in scholarship.

The faculty for my course was highly qualified with more than 12 years of experience. Most of them have completed their PhDs. A large number of faculty members have military background. The faculty uses PPTs and blackboards. If the students have any problems or doubts the faculty is always ready to help them. The faculty covers the syllabus within just 5 months.

HITAM Hyderabad has multiple blocks and it is spread across about 8 to 10 acres of land. Every floor has an open area where students can relax and study peacefully. The classrooms are spacious with a seating capacity of around 70 students. The institute has all the required facilities such as a library, laboratories, an auditorium, seminar halls, amphitheatre, protocol office rooms, gym room, medical room, stationary shop, juice point, etc. Students are provided outstanding sports facilities for indoor games and outdoor games like Cricket, Kho-Kho, Football, Kabaddi, etc. It offers transport facilities for which the fees is about Rs. 35,000. Students can get delicious food from the 2 canteens and 1 café available in the campus. My favourite thing about the infrastructure was the air cooler facility of the building.

Overall, the campus life at the institute is excellent. 4 to 5 technical and cultural fests are conducted every year. ‘ELYSIAN’ is a 5-day fest held at the institute in which every student participates. The institute has 22 clubs such as the robotics club where students can explore their interest and showcase their talent. Extracurricular activities are organised by the Student Self-Governance (SSG) team. The campus life is the best one and you'll be enjoying your time at the institute.
