BN College Dhubri: Hostel Facilities and Campus Infrastructure

BN College, Dhubri is very popular in our area. In the college, there are many famous faculties. The teachers are also very skilled and educated.

My course is B.Sc that is very popular these days and students can easily be employed. For enrollment in this course, it is required to have12th pass certificate in science stream. There are two semester in one year and total 6 semester in course. Now, there is a change in the semester system so now students have 8 semesters in the total course.

In our college, students have to pay college fee one time in a year and exam fee twice in a year.

In our department, we have four faculty members including 2 permanent professors and 2 contractual professors. All faculty members have done their Masters from recognized University. They also use blackboards and digital board for teaching us. The faculty members also have abilities to solve problems in studies as well as student’s life related problems. The student to teacher ratio is varies department-to-department in our department. we have for teachers to teach 12 students in our class. Faculty members are very helpful and friendly to us.

In BN College, Dhubri, there are hostel facilities for girls and boys. However, the rooms in the hostel are limited so the students are getting rooms on the basis of merits. However, the rent in the hostel is very less with respect to the other rooms besides the college. The food is healthy in canteen and hostel mess. Both the hostels maintain register for in and out timings of the college and hostel.

In the campus, academic blocks are structured in a very good way. All the buildings are beautifully made with very attractive gardens, flowers, and a lake. In addition, the locality beside the colleges is very beautiful. In the classrooms are well made and the branches are very comfortable to seat to attend the lectures. All the classes have enough branches and seats, according to the seat capacity of the department. The college has many facilities like playground, indoor stadium, lab, canteen, digital room, library, conference room, student’s common room, GYM, and hall.

My overall journey is very good and memorable. In a college all, the teaching & non-teaching staffs including librarians & gardeners are supportive. College has clubs like musical club, dancing club, drama club, yoga club, sports club, etc. every year, college hosts a sports week and freshers party (every year). Other days are celebrated with the great enthusiasm and gratitude.
