Review of GANDHI ENGINEERING COLLEGE

Overall Rating
GEC is a good college. College campus is big enough. You can directly get admission in the college. If you have very bad results in JEE main even than you can also get admission. Fee of this college is very less as compared to other colleges. Faculties are also very good and have friendly nature with students. You can easily get admission in the college and there is no need to worry. Facilities are very good.
 

Academics Rating
I am enrolled in B.Tech CSE. Several options are there like CSE and DS and AI&ML, So chose this field according to your interest. You can easily get direct admission to the college. No need to worry if you have missed your JEE exam. College campus is good enough. Exam pressure is very high. Two internal and semester exam will happen. Internal marks also affect your CGPA very much.
College fee is comparatively less than other colleges. Tuition fees is around Rs. 1,40,000.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculties are very much experienced. Most of them are very good. Some of them are average. They are well educated. Some of them have more than 15 years of experience. Classrooms are also good. Projector is present in every class. The style of teaching is good too. In every class approximately 60 students are present. Some teachers are very much concerned about the students. They are of very friendly nature. PPT’s are given.
 

Placement Rating
There are placement and training cell present in the college. The average package is 6 LPA and highest package is 10 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
There are 5 boy’s hostel and one girl’s hostel in the campus. Two hostel for first year students. In a room two students are allocated. Toilet and bathroom is attached to every room so there is no common bathroom or toilet. Hostel fees around Rs. 80,000 per year. Hostel food is average.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus is very good and big enough. There are total number of 5 boys hostel and one girls hostel. College main building is very big. Classrooms are very good. In every class approx 60 students can be accommodated. College canteen food is good. Sports facilities are available. Cricket, badminton, basketball, volleyball facilities are available inside campus for students. Security is very high. There is CCTV surveillance everywhere in the campus.
 

Campus Rating
College has good campus. Crowd in the college is very high. Several clubs are also available for dancing, singing and public speaking. College fest is held every year. We enjoy the campus life a lot. Sports facilities are available too. 75 percent attendance is mandatory in college. There are some extra marks for attendance in semester exam. Fine is also charged on less attendance.

    It is below average institute not as I expected. The factor that made me chose this institute was direct admission criteria and one doesn't need to qualify any exam. In other institutions you are required to write an exam to get admission, but here it doesn't require anything you have to just show your JEE mains result. They don't check the percentile you got. It's more than a year since I completed my graduation from this college all I could say is this college is very good at providing all type of facilities for students for their study.
