SKIT Institute review

Overall Rating
When I got the SKIT Institute by reap counseling was very happy that I got a Institute that is full of opportunities. I choose this because of the Institute placement and facilities that they provide. In other Institutes the opportunity is more as compared to SKIT Institute. Other Institutes are different because SKIT has high discipline standards and it is compulsory to follow everything that is told by the management and the faculty members.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I have chosen is computer science and engineering specialization in artificial intelligence. I chose this course because the cutoff was very high i.e. about 85 percentile and for core CSE it is 1 percentile low. For other branches like mechanical and civil cut-off was about 60 to 70 percentage for general category. The cut-off differs every year because in 2023 the cutoff for CSE branch was 88.
The total fees that I have paid is Rs. 1,21,000 for whole 1st year and it includes Rs. 1000 registration fees and development and caution money is about Rs. 7,500. The excluded exam fees per semester will also be charged. There is no discount for any student. Scholarship will also be available and you can contact the scholarship team.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are very good and mostly supportive. The faculties are very punctual in their teaching and learning. They treat each and every student same and do not discriminate. All faculty members are M.Tech and some Ph.D holder. They are called as senior professor and some are assistant professors. In each and every class there is a white board and labs are also in good condition with all equipment. The teacher and student ratio at the Institute is about 30 students and 1 faculty.
 

Placement Rating
The placement in the SKIT Institute was also good and the T &P cell (training and placement cell) brings the company every year. Last year the highest package was 48 LPA and the average was 5 to 6 LPA. The company that visits every year is cognizant and many other companies also visit the campus of SKIT Institute. This gives opportunities to the students.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Institute provides hostel that has a capacity of 470 students at a single time. For girls hostel there are 240 girls living at a time. Yes, the girls and boys hostels are separate. The mess was also good but not so much. The hostel rules are also very strict and the girls hostel will be closed at 7:00pm and for boys hostel its 10:00pm.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of SKIT Institute Jaipur was very good but too small. The campus is spread in the area of about 15 acre but there is greenery everywhere in the Institute. The classrooms have a capacity of 70 students at a time but in a batch there are 65 students that are divided into two parts. The labs have a capacity of 35 students at a time. There is a big library also in Institute that consists of all types of books that are revenant to the course. The canteen, medical, transport, security facilities are available but the security was very strict and no one is allowed to leave the Institute without permission of HOD.
 

Campus Rating
The overall campus life was not so much good for me. The crowd in the Institute is large as every year 1,200 students get admitted in the Institute and there is huge crowd. In the SKIT Institute there are many clubs. The main is SNT club (science and technology club). Yes, I have joined the main one. The event is organized every year in February and this is the main fest in the Institute and celebrities also come in the fest. The fest named "PRAVAH" is the best.

Factors that made me choose it were good infrastructure, good teachers, discipline, and many more.     I had a lot of options near me but I chose SKIT Jaipur because of its discipline and great infrastructure. My experience in this institute is pretty good. There is no place for ragging here. It is totally ragging free; in fact the seniors are very helping. The institute is like a family where everyone helps each other.
