SLS Nagpur: B.A.L.L.B and B.B.A.L.L.B Fees and Scholarship

Symbiosis Law School, Nagpur is dream for many students who aspire to get into the best law college. Best education, best peers, best teaching, best architecture add value to the college. It is a place where you can get the vibe of home away from home. New place, new people, new language and culture. Everything will be new and of course many new learning. Symbiosis is a brand and symbiosis is a tag. If you are a Symbian the tag itself will give you confidence apart from what you cultivate from within to be honest. Also this place gives plethora of opportunities and exposure.

SLS Nagpur basically offers two courses for UG program that is 5 year integrated B.A.L.L.B and B.B.A.L.L.B program. I personally had interest in arts/humanities oriented course for which I even took it as my stream in 12th. It is one of the reasons why I chose B.A.L.L.B. When it comes to aspirants to make into one such best college, entrance test becomes important. To make into here I wrote SLAT which has 3 levels. First it’s an MCQ based exam and one who qualifies this will move to 2nd and 3rd stage that is personal interview and CV checking. Once the candidate has successfully passed all these then they are more likely to get admission. This is how I am in SLS Nagpur right now. The course is structured in such a way that students can understand with their efficient teaching along with theory and practical learning.

Fees is about 30 to 45 lakh for 5 years which comprises of education, material (online and offline), hostel, mess and food, gym and sports, hospital, library, etc. The concession of fees is given for students who top each year. If a student becomes a topper he or she would get a scholarship of 1 or 2 lakhs for the year they topped.

Faculties are well trained and experienced. We have staffs that have come from great background like supreme court lawyers, 10 years plus experienced professors. More over many staff members have done Ph.D as well. We have PPT and practical way of teaching. We can approach teachers during working hours whenever we want. In case of online we can contact them through their mail so that we have a chat, Google meet or we can even ping them.

Placements are great. Let’s say, for a year 240 students are selected together from both course. Out of 240, 150 to 180 are placed in firms. Rest would usually choose litigation and opt to go with judiciary or other competitive exams. Placements are decent and good. Highest package would be like 30 LPA and plus, low to average would be from 6 lakh to 15 lakh.

Hostel is a great environment. We have separate boys and girls hostel. It is very clean and well functioning. Wardens are friendly in nature and they are ready to help you if you face any problem. Night outs are allowed only with parents permission. Also the choice of choosing room is ours. We basically have 2, 3, 4 sharing rooms. And fee per semester depends on the sharing of room you take. For a semester the fees would be of Rs. 2 Lakh per semester.

Infrastructure is just wow. Beautiful buildings and it gives some Taj Mahal and some Foreign Palace kind of vibe. It is a very big campus with lots of trees and flowers. For 1st year we have 4 classrooms. This applies to other years as well. Classrooms are equipped with AC, fan, well conditioned table and chair, projector and monitor. We also have 4 computer labs which actually work great. Moot courts give you the actual vibe of court. It is one the favorite place for me. We have big and great auditorium with world class facility which is capable of conducting many shows and talks by great personality and all. We have conference hall as well where we can accommodate at least 300 to 500 people. For hostellers we have bicycle to travel if we want to incase of any need. Library is very vast which gives peace and calmness to our mind and soul. Gym, sports complex and emergency hospital is also there which is functioning in a great way.

Lots and lots of events tend to happen. Our schedule and events are fixed in prior. Which we call it as academic planner provided by our Institution. We have many clubs and councils. We can explore as many as we can. For example we have forensic science centre, student council, cultural cell, sports cell, legal aid cell, debate cell and so on. We also used to engage in many activities. Once in Every month we have ethnic day. Many festivals irrespective of religion are also encouraged so that we can let each other know and enjoy India's diversity and people's culture and tradition. We have Symbhav and Symjashn which is considered as national fest organized by our college. So it’s indeed a wonderful place for many aspirants who are just like me.
