Overall Rating
I am the final year student of LLB (3 years) of RTMNU's Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Law. I chose this college because it is the oldest law college in Idarbha. It has a long history of grooming and nurturing the talent. Many great leaders, politicians, and lawyers, judges are from this college. Alumni of this college are as follows: Former PM P V Narsimharao, Union cabinet minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis, Former CJI Sharad Bobde, Harish Salve, etc.
 

Academics Rating
I have enrolled in 3 years LLB program. The motive was to become a good lawyer. I wanted a government college, which was nearer and convenient to me. For taking admission in this college, you have to qualify LAWCET exam. This college provides both 3 years and 5 years LLB and BA.LL.B program. The pattern of exam is semester wise. There are two semesters in one year, therefore 6 semesters in 3 years program, and 10 semesters in 5 years program. These academics have prepared me for real life court challenges.
As this is government-aided college, the fee structure of this college is very affordable for all category students whether it is poor or rich. This college provides excellent legal education with minimum fee is Rs. 5,200 (For Open Category), Rs. 4,700 (For OBC & VJNT), and Rs. 2,700 (For SC ST). GOI scholarship is available for SC, ST and OBC students. Semester wise exam fee is Rs. 1,950.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of this college are very friendly & supportive to students. LLM is minimum qualification for faculties to teach in this college, while most of the teacher staff is PhD holder. Method of teaching is interactive, group discussion, etc. They teach us by giving real life examples and prepare us for the challenges in the legal field. Whenever we experience any problem regarding academics or syllabus, & exams, they help us lot. You will never found The teacher-student bonding is good.
 

Placement Rating
I am not aware about any placement cell. The alumni of this college are judges in SC & HC and renowned advocates. Many students are in corporate world across India and abroad.
 

Hostel Rating
Campus is located at Amravati Road, Law College Square Nagpur. Campus is quite large. Building is quite old as it is oldest law college in Vidarbha. There is huge library in the college. Health clinic is also there. My favorite thing as a part of this college is preamble park. It is the fascinating spot of this college. There is a big auditorium in the college and overall academic experience is good.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are about 800 students in this college. Overall campus life is good. Various curricular and extracurricular activities are being conducted in this college. In extracurricular activities, "Anugoonj fest" is organized every year. Our college conducts National law fest " JUSTA CAUSA" every year for the overall development of students enhancing their skill and knowledge. Students from all over the country take part in this fest. I also got opportunity to volunteering and take part in competitions.
