Overall Rating
Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth has well educated teachers which can helps in student’s progress. Also institute has good quality of hostel mess facilities. Also, Hostel Had the Good cleansing staffs who maintains hygiene. The college is very good and people here are very friendly and helpful to the new students. I choose this college because the college has very good teaching staff and it is near to my home town.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Sc Agriculture because the degree is very helpful for the future studies. There are many job opportunities available after the completion of this degree so I have chosen this course. The admission process is you have to appear for the MHCET examination after completion of the 12th class and in MHCET exam you have to get 80% so that you are eligible for the college.
The fee is about Rs. 1,45,000 per year and the admission fee is about Rs. 75,000. The hostel fee is separate and charges around Rs. 12,000 per year. There are many hidden fees like manual fee and some other fee. Scholarships are provided by the Maharashtra Government to the local people only and the amount is about Rs 20,000 per year.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors at Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth are very experienced about 5 to 6 years and completed the Ph.D in reputed universities. And their methods are strictly stuck to the books and they use blackboards and PPTs to teach the students. They solve the problems of students and they explain the lessons very easily. The professors here are very friendly and very supportive and there are about 25 to 30 faculty and workers are about 10 people.
 

Placement Rating
Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth doesn't provide any placement and internships to the students. After completion of the degree you have to search job by yourself and apply for jobs on your own.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels are provided by Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth and the hostels are separate for boys and girls. Mess food is average and acceptable. The hostel rooms are clean and Wi-Fi facility is available in the Hostel for students.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are mainly 4 blocks in the Dr. Balasaheb Sawant Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth’s campus. The campus size is about more than 250 Acres of land. The classroom’s seating capacity is about 150 students and the academic facilities like central library is present and various labs are available and seminar hall is very large and very good. The canteen is present in the campus and many sports ground are also available in which the students can play in the evening after completion of the college hours.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life here is not that exciting and the college is less likely to be crowded. There are various clubs running by the students and some extra circular activities are also organised by the college. The fests conducted by the college are about 3 to 4 fests per year.
