Kannur University Admission Process and Fee Structure

History department of Kannur University can be considered as one of the best History departments in Kerala. This is because it is having the faculties like Dr. Malavika Binny, Dr. Manjula Poyil, and Dr. Shaheen who are excellent in what they are doing. We also have a huge opportunity to interact with different scholars during the session through online and offline sessions. The department provides a huge connection for students with the public.

You should qualify this university’s entrance test and should be in top 25 ranks to get admission in first allotment itself. 3 allotments will be happening and final allotment will be happening where students until 50 ranks in reservation category will get admission. So wait until the final allotment completed.

There are totally 4 semesters are there as part of the course in which about Rs. 15,000 must be which include admission fee, registration fee, etc. So in total, it will be about Rs. 40,000 to complete the course in two years

Faculties were good and they will be taking classes through both online and offline sessions. They will be using PPTS, group discussions and blackboards for taking the classes. We will be having 4 teachers for total 30 students. In addition, the explanation for each part of the reference books helps us for a detailed understanding on the subject and eventually helped to getting curious into the subject. Three of them are JNU pass out students, which increase the quality of the department.

We can see internships are provided by departments in various universities, which helps to improve practical knowledge in subject rather than theoretical one.

In total, you should pay about Rs. 2,900 per month, which includes Rs. 2500 as a mess fee. Boy’s and girl’s hostels are separated. There is a time schedule of 6:00 AM to 9:30 PM.

Kannur University is having better facilities compared to other government universities in Kerala. We have excellent library facilities in which there are separate departments inside library, which will help to find the required book easily. In addition, there will be always a doctor inside the campus for safety of students. Transport buses are also there. In addition, we have an excellent seminar complex, which is having a theatrical experience inside it. We have an excellent indoor stadium, which provide opportunities for students to workout at evening and to play different games. It also has an excellent gymnasium and swimming pool for students. We have a canteen inside the campus and 3 cafeterias outside the campus.

Campus life is limited as compared to other campus. It does conduct some engagement activities and fests for the students. Students can also engage themselves in sports activities as multiple tournaments and competitions are also organized.
