Golden Days of My Life at Cachar College

Overall Rating
I took admission on Cachar College for my B.Com degree course. The reason behind choosing the college because it is the most reputed college in our region, which is Borak Valley, Assam. The college is very popular for its B.Com as well as another degree courses. It is very old and reputed college. Students who get admission in this college have successful life. The college is much disciplined and there is no ragging culture here.
 

Academics Rating
The college is also popular for its wonderful results. It is popular so it is very hard to get admission in this college because everyone is first preference to get admission in this college. This year, the cutoff of successful went 75% and above. Science degree courses are available along with all the facilities that are required to pursue the Science degree and also Arts degree courses are available.
The annual fee for Arts student is Rs. 6,000 The annual fee for Commerce student Rs. 7,680, and Science students’ fee varies on the subject they chose.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Cachar College is very good. They are very helpful to a student. In this college, there are various departments available, and all the department head i.e. HoDs are PhD degree holder and other professors are CAT qualified. All the faculties in this college are highly educated according to their subject. They are very helpful to the students. They provide all the necessary tips and tricks regarding the exams and for studies.
 

Placement Rating
The college provides very good placement every year. Last year, 10 to 20 student got placement in various companies among these TCS and Mahindra companies. The average package offered by the company is Rs. 30,000 and the lowest is Rs. 15,000.
 

Hostel Rating
The hostels of this college are situated at the end of the college. The boy’s and girl’s hostels are separated from each other. There is very strict discipline for every student. The hostel fee is Rs. 3,000 per month. all the necessary accessories are available that is bed, study table, study light, etc.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is very good. The college was rebuilt in the year 2013. The college has six floors and each floor has 12 to 20 classrooms. The classrooms are highly equipped with all the necessary equipment like digital board, projector, computer room, etc. there is also an emergency exit and a fire extinguisher in almost every float. There is drinking water facility for the students. The college has all the sports facilities, as there is playground for football, volleyball, and cricket. Indoor sports facilities for the sports like chess, carom, etc. are also available here.
 

Campus Rating
I have spent a very memorable days in this college. Every year, the college organizes an annual function and annuals sports program. Doing the break time, most the students engage in any kind of sports activity. In this college, we have various sitting places. All these things make a very memorable college life.
