Chandigarh group of colleges is way better in studies then other colleges. Teachers here are strict as well as kind. The Infrastructure is impressive and quality education is provided in the college. I don't think other colleges really focus on studies. As long as studies are considered they focus on student’s personal growth by participating in events and always motivating them whenever there is a need. This college is far better than other colleges.

The course that I have chosen is bachelor of technology in artificial intelligence and machine learning. There are some of the colleges that have AI & ML course. This is the best course in B.Tech. because in this we learn about artificial intelligence and also machine learning. This is most required field nowadays. The admission process is so smooth. Everyone is very helpful in nature. If I talk about academics they prepare us for real life challenges by providing different classes with whatever we need to know about our placements.

Fee structure is simple for B.Tech. We need to pay approximately Rs. 1,25,000 to 1,35,000. For hostels I am paying Rs. 1,10,000 which is quite fine if we compare it to other colleges. Now they have also started online attendance ERP so we have to pay another Rs. 500 for that. They give scholarship and support students financially. They also have some scholarships to help students as this college is affiliated to PTU, Jalandhar.

Faculty members are supportive, helpful and kind in nature. They help students whenever they need. Faculty members always motivate us. They are approachable whenever we have doubts. If we text them they will reply to us with in time which is very impressive I believe. They create environment in which student’s like to study. The environment provided is very friendly as well as strict. They support both academics and also support extracurricular activities. I just love their teaching style. There is no need in improvement of faculty members. They teach us through every possible method like through whiteboard or through group discussion (GD).

If talk about placement there is a department which is known as TPP that provides every single detail regarding your placement. They tell us do's and don'ts so we should really enroll for TPP. It prepares students through there subject that you need in your job interviews like aptitude, verbal, technical in aptitude, etc. They improve that reasoning section, mathematical section and improve ourselves if I talk about verbal attributes. In this they teach us soft skills like communication skills, how to do that, etc. Regular group discussion sessions are provided for us and in technical they teach us what is important for technical interview. In 2023 there were more than 6,000 companies that visited CGC Landran for placement derives. The highest package offered in the year 2023 was 54.75 lakh approximately and the average package was 6 to 7 lakh. This is all about placement that I know

Yes, college offers us hostel with proper security and mess facilities along with many more facilities that student requires. For boys and girls they do have separate hostel, separate mess and a separate gym. There are approximately 1,200 girls in girl hostel and there is one hostel for girls with two buildings. It has 4 hostels of boys. The fee for room shared by 4 in girl’s hostel is Rs. 1,10,000 and this amount is quite affordable. With all the facilities that they have provided but somehow they are lagging in providing good food. There are very clear rules of hostel for girls. The out pass time is only till 6:30 pm and the campus in time for girls is 7:30 pm.

Infrastructure is good but campus is Little small like it could be better but still there is a beautiful campus. They have provided us everything whatever we need like smart class rooms, number of library, seminar halls, auditorium, conference halls, etc. There are number of rooms and halls for student. There are two main canteens in campus, also a sports room is there if we want to relax and chill with friends. To relax our mind from stress they have provided us every possible sport. For medical facilities they have dispensary in main campus. In classroom there is a seating capacity of 70 students in one class.

Overall Chandigarh group of colleges provide brilliant academics and social life for students. They have so many things to do to improve you at personal level and professional level. There are many clubs for cultural, environment, videography, technical, etc. Every type of club is present at the college and they organize different events like treasure hunt, painting, and so on. In addition college crowd is quite good. There is a particular kind of annual event which is Parivartan and this event is organized for two days. Different singers are there to entertain. Overall everything there is good and security, greenery, cleanliness is impressive.
