Government Arts College B.Sc Review By Murugan

Basically admission process can be done by Counseling in offline. This is the only way to join Kalaignar Karunanidhi Government Arts College. It is NAAC B accredited college. Infrastructure wise very good college. This is a government college so college fees is very low than compare any other arts colleges. I joined with my arts and science cutoff is more than 300. So I got seat in B.Sc Computer Science. There are different blocks for each department. Good foods are provided every day in canteen. In this college Lab facility is very good. It is affiliated by Tiruvalluvar University in Chennai. College is running in batch wise that is morning batch and evening batch. There are more than 5000 students are studying in all the departments.

All are updated syllabus for Computer Science department it is having equal syllabus compare to the Engineering syllabus. The laboratories are sufficient for my department every systems in working condition and some of PCs have high end configuration and proper software to learn coding. My syllabus subjects are sufficient to place in an MNC with updated knowledge and study deep coding knowledge.

All faculties are very friendly and punctual. And main thing to be say they all are very experienced because everyone completed Ph.D. If I have doubt means I would ask anytime. They all are very educated and updated. In this college mostly every department have sufficient teaching staff.

It is an Arts and Science college so there is no placements available but the faculty members help to develop our knowledge and recommend some companies to work in my department. We have to develop our knowledge to get placed in good salary package.

Currently the hostel in not open. Because there is no posting allotted to warden. So after Corona pandemic hostel remained closed. May be it will be open after appointment of warden.

There are separate blocks for every department. There is sufficient class rooms are available for every student. Entire campus is fully cleaned everyday by cleaning staffs.

I am very proud to join in this Government Arts and Science College. I am very happy because my thought about my college life is fulfilled in this college. I got good friends and faculties to guide my life and to get a job. I learnt lot of things in NCC in my college. Yes, I am a National Cadet Corps Student in my college. I got B and C certification in this college for NCC achievement. I am going to miss my college in 6 months I am a final year student in this college.
