GIMT Greater Noida Admission Criteria and Academic Programs

Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology (GIMT) provides both academic and practical learning comprehensive programs for students to study in. There are classrooms available with more than 80 student capacity and more than 20 rooms on each floor. There are 4 -5 floors in 4-5 separate buildings for different departments of students. All blocks are equipped with separate restrooms for both girls and boys. All restrooms have automatic sensors to switch lighting and exhaust fans to preserve electricity.

Galgotias Institute of Management and technology is situated in Galgotias Institutions Campus 1 which has 3 colleges namely Galgotias College of Engineering and Technology(GCET), Galgotias College of Pharmacy(GCOP) and Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology(GIMT). These represent the students of pharmacy and management studies. I have chosen B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering in (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning). The eligibility criteria is that the students must score more than 95% in CBSE 12th class for getting direct admission. One can also get admission through AKTU counseling and must score 90 percentile for being eligible for CSE. There are frequent exams conducted in the college such as every month it consists of CAE (Continuous assessment examination)- I,II,PUT (Pre University Test)- l, ll.

The overall fees AT Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology is Rs. 1,15,603 for first year (refundable) and Rs. 1,09,603 for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year. All the fee has to be paid at the start of the year with Rs. 10,000 that are provided from the Institution side after the completion of course. There is UP Government Scholarship scheme for students of different Category of eligible students. Also smart phone or tablets for studying are also distributed to students to help them study.

Each class is taught by Faculties who have done Ph.Ds from well Known Universities such as IIT Patna, IIT Roorkie, etc. All faculties are very humble and are responsive to the students and provide students every effort to help them. The faculty members use Whiteboards to explain concept to the students in the classrooms along with the help of HD projector equipped in every classroom. The Faculty members have outstanding problem solving ability which is very helpful to the students. The teacher student ratio is 9:8.

There is a separate building for placement aid at Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology. The cell offer placement to the promising students. There are various training facilities for student to be prepared for the placement related tasks. Regular hackathons are organized for the students. There are various renowned Tech Companies that are associated with our college for placements such as Cognigant, Autodesk, TCS, Mahindra, Google, Microsoft, etc.

The overall infrastructure of Galgotias Institute of Management and Technology is very good. You can see a 200 meter fountain pathway at the entrance of the college and there is a spacious football ground provided for sports activities. It can accommodate 10,000 people. Every year there are various events organized in the campus. There is a spacious library in the college premises and this contains more than 15,000 books. There are more than 10 Canteens that are available for the students to dine in. College is connected to the Metro route whose station is only 100 meters away from the college campus. Transport facilities are available for students with a total of 10 buses.

My life at this campus has been good. There are various students that are from other states of Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Jharkhand, Bihar, Himachal, etc. There are various extracurricular activities organized in the college and many hackathons are arranged in the college for students to participate in. Many events are arranged from time to time in the campus. Every year Unifest is organized in the campus which is the largest fest of NCR.
