Why You Must Join and Why You Must Not Join

Overall Rating
I am an alumnus of Jansons Institute of Technology. This is one of the best engineering institutes to maven engineering skills. They have the best faculty that will engage and involve with the student at an individualistic level. Let me share one of my experiences, when I was in my third semester there was a subject Digital System Design. I wasn’t having been performing well in my internals in this subject. I was not confident about the subject. I went to my assigned mentor and she talk with my subject matter faculty and they helped me in acing subject and improved my analytical skills.
 

Academics Rating
They have trained faculty that has minimum 3 to 4 years of experience. They generally don't add fresher into their team. I had seen faculty helping out students in their subject matter even after their regular office timings. They choose very best person from them for HOD post even superseding experience over merit.
 

Faculty Rating
Before choosing any engineering college student must look into college previous track record. They have the antecedents that show what they are going to deliver. I had seen this college and have few colleagues that are working in my company. They generally refer this college because of its infrastructure, academic and co-curricular activities. It has 20 to 30 percent faculty that has PhD degrees and do have campus networking that helps individual to grow.
 

Placement Rating
Jansons Group main business is textile from where they are getting maximum revenue. People before joining JIT thinking that they will be placing them in their company and they do place engineering students in their company but that is just for textile engineering students. For other branch it will not get you placed in institutes such as PSG Technology. But you will get an average package and that will be fine if you are getting this college in average marks.
 

Hostel Rating
College management and faculty regularly interact with the students for sorting out their problems. They never weasel away from impasse situation whether that relates to hostel related common problems or academic.
 

Infrastructure Rating
One of the best colleges in Coimbatore in terms of facilities they are rendering to their students. They are providing AC classrooms. Best academic classrooms and peer group support to provide you best academic ambience. The only negative side of this college that I find was It is located in outer part of Coimbatore which is rural. It is distant from the Coimbatore city It is located on the peripheral of the city.
 

Campus Rating
Jansons institute of technology will not only make students involve in academics but they also conducts cultural and sports activities. They have separate cultural and sports cell that work upon to make them connoisseur. I have seen my fellow mates that have switched their carrier from engineering to entertainment and even in professional sports. It is a great place for overall growth.
