Vimal Jyothi Engineering College: A Hub for Future Engineers

Overall Rating
I came to Vimal Jyothi Engineering College hoping to grow as a very good engineer and after coming here I was convinced that I can. This college is the most apt engineering college as it focuses mainly on studies. I am not saying that they do not encourage extracurricular activities, they have lots of extracurricular activities like arts, sports etc. But the main focus of the institution is to produce competitive engineers.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I chose was the most competitive course in the engineer field. Computer Science Engineering is the course that I chose. I chose this course believing in my programming capabilities and I know that I can survive in this tough world. The admission process of Vimal Jyothi Engineering College was a very challenging one as they provide scholarships to those who have acquired greater KEAM ranks.
The fee for students in this college is about Rs. 98,000 per year. But this does not apply for NRI seat students. Vimal Jyothi Engineering College also offers scholarships for different ranks and marks attained by the students in KEAM and +2.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty of Vimal Jyothi Engineering College is very friendly and their sole aim is to make each and every student they teach pass with good grades. They teach in a very experienced and modern way using PPTs, etc. They are also highly experienced and eligible to teach. They are friendly and also convincing people who are also good human beings who care for others and wish only for the good future of others.
 

Placement Rating
Since I have not been placed from the college I do not know a lot about that but from what I have heard this college attracts big companies like Infosys, etc. The students who attend the interviews are those who have never failed in any semester exams and those with great performance.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, Vimal Jyothi Engineering College offers great residential facilities. It has about 3 hostels inside the college with 2 boys and a girl’s hostel. It also has a PG hostel for faculties and also a girl’s hostel outside the campus.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus is a vast area which extends to acres of land. The campus is located near towns and also it has all facilities for a hosteller. It has a built in gym along with a large library, different labs for different departments, two auditoriums, and a conference hall. The canteen is the most vibrant area in the campus. A variety of sports are played here including football, basketball, etc.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life so far has been a good journey with a lot of happy moments along with sad ones. Vimal Jyothi Engineering College has thousands of students making it a busy campus. The college has different activities for students enabling them to come forward and find out what they are good at and make them realize their true talents. There aren’t lots of events in this college just a tech fest, an arts fest and a sports day.
