My Experiences at United Institute of Technology, Prayagaraj

Overall Rating
The overall review of United Institute of Technology is good. The Institute has large vibrant campus. I choose United Institute of Technology because it is in my hometown and also the placement here is average. This institute conducts various events including technical events also like hackathons. The campus is full of greenery. Classrooms are also good. Sometimes washrooms are not clean but above all campus is good and surrounding environment is also good. Cafeterias are also good and serves freshly prepared food.
 

Academics Rating
I choose B.Tech CSE course. I choose this course because of the vast scope in this field in present as well as future. The eligibility criteria of this institute in B.Tech admission is 60% minimum marks in 12th and the admission process is Direct as well as on the basis of JEE MAINS score. Direct admission is based on the marks scored in the entrance exam which they take before admission. Here 2 sessional exams are conducted and 2 class tests are conducted at proper time interval. The course is up to date and prepares us for placements.
The fees of B.Tech course is Rs. 1, 26,525 of first year and it will remain same till four year. The fee is paid in 2 installments. No any additional charge is applicable only registration fees of Rs. 15,000 is taken during the admission. No discount is provided to the students at United Institute of Technology. Scholarship is provided to the counseling students.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members at United Institute of Technology are good except some of them. They help us clearing out doubts and are very liberal. Most of the faculty members are Ph.D holders. They teach on black board as well as use projector. The faculties are good they clear the doubts of students even they take tutorial classes also for clearing the doubts of students. The students to teacher ratio are 60:1. Experience is good as most of the faculty members are helpful.
 

Placement Rating
Placement at United Institute of Technology is average. On an average they provide package of 3-4 LPA and highest package goes up to 12 LPA this year. The company often visited here are Wipro and Infosys.
 

Hostel Rating
I am not a hosteller so I don't have much idea about this but my hosteller’s friend told me that hostel rooms are average but mess food is not that good. The in timing for girls is 7:30PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of United Institute of Technology is big. It has various academic blocks for various courses and different year students. It is anti ragging institute. Classrooms are spacious. On an average it has capacity of 60 students. Institute has a good library and largest auditorium. Labs are also fully equipped and canteen food is also good but prices of some items are not reasonable. Various sports also take place like badminton, cricket, volleyball, etc. Security guards are always near to the main gate.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. They institute is crowded. There are various clubs like NCC, NSS, English club, etc. I am not a part of any club right now. Various events and fests like Enigma 12, Dandiya night, Astitva, etc. takes place in the institute. Technical fests like hackathons were also conducted here. The campus is so vibrant and amazing. Induction program and freshers function also takes place which were really amazing.
