Medicine being one of the challenging courses is dealt with great care with professional staffs. Students with a pass in NEET exam are eligible for applying in this course. Exams are conducted very frequently here. There is only one final examination per year but 4 important internal assessments are conducted in between. Formative assessments and tutor test are also conducted twice or thrice in a month per subject. Chettinad Academy of Research and Education also encourages early clinical exposure from the 1st year.

The fee for my course at Chettinad Academy of Research and Education is Rs. 24, 50,000 per year for medicine. Additionally Rs. 1, 50,000 for next coaching. Hostel fee varies upon the type of room that we tend to choose.

There are almost 10 to 15 staffs teaching a particular subject. All staffs hold a great degree and are professionally trained before entering the teaching field. They make us understand each and every concept. Every staff is easily approachable and lectures for 250 students are taught using ppt and small group discussions are also encouraged, where communication between student and teacher is increased. Mentors are allotted for each student where the student finds it very easy to communicate and easily resolve the problem if any.

Yes, Chettinad Academy of Research and Education provides hostel facilities to the students. Boys and girls hostels are separate here. Each hostel is similar to a villa with 5 to 7 hostel buildings, sports, gym, parlor vending and mess. Each building has about 4 to 5 floors and each floor has 14 to 15 rooms. Different facilities are available in the hostels and the cost of the hostels varies according to the rooms chosen by the students. There are 3 sharing, 2 sharing and also single sharing rooms. Hostel fee is a bit too costly. Food is good and the mess also offers a different menu each day. Proper mail with a letter, GATE number and confirmation from the parents are required to move out of the hostel.

It is a vast campus with different sectors inside. Academic blocks are minimal but filled with amazing features. Seminar halls have centralised AC and occupy a minimum of 250 people. The block almost contains a central Library, Physiology Main Lab, New Lab, Hematology Lab, Mammalian Lab, Pathology Lab, Biochemistry Lab, Anatomy Dissection Area, Histology Lab, Lecture Theatres, Skills Lab, Auditorium, etc. The food in the food court is of different cuisines where we tend to see staffs and students on the same wavelength.

Chettinad Academy of Research and Education doesn’t allow phone inside the demo hall. Basically a very strict college attendance is keenly watched by the authorities. Punching system all over the campus with registered face id prevents strangers inside the campus. Other cultural events like Chet fest occurs only once a year. Number of holidays in the college is very minimal. Only events regarding to studies are conducted often.
