This institute provides an integrated course in Biotechnology. They focus on fulfilling the needs and expectations of the student by providing good quality knowledge both in theory and practical. Students get deep practical knowledge as the labs are well-equipped with the instruments.

I was having Biotechnology as an additional subject during my 10+2 and that was the I choose this course. This institute offers flagship courses B. Sc. and M. Sc. at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and DMLT. Students must be 12th pass from the recognized board with 50% marks and students outside of Rajasthan must have 60% marks. The courses are designed in a way to provide skills and practical knowledge in the field of biotechnology, microbiology, plant biotechnology, nanotechnology, etc. Institute also provides hands-on training and sessions for students from other institutes and schools.

The faculties at Dr. B. Lal Institute of Biotechnology are very friendly and trained. They provide support and mentorship in the friendliest manner. The faculty is good at providing theoretical and practical knowledge to the students. They help students in their overall development by conducting class activities and also encourage students in participating in extracurricular activities.

Some students get the placement after the completion of graduation while most students are placed after the last session of their postgraduate program. Students are placed at Apex Hospital, Team, Dr. Lal Path labs, etc, and some students are also placed at the various centers of Dr. B. Lal Labs in Jaipur. At the time of the placement, faculties motivate and conduct sessions for the students which helps students in performing better in their interviews. But despite this help lesser students are placed in good companies.

The institute does not provide accommodation facilities to the students. But students can easily find rooms, PGs, and Hostels in the nearby area surrounded by parks, a market area, a temple, and hospitals with easy accessibility to buses, autos, and cabs.

Dr. B. Lal Institute is located in Malviya Nagar, near the apex circle. Although the campus is very small still facilities such as a canteen, play area, auditorium, and library are available on the campus. Students can utilize their time in physical activities such as volleyball and badminton. The library has a collection of a wide range of Life science books, novels, magazines, and, newspapers.

Campus life is quite good as the institute focuses on both academic and extracurricular activities. Intra-college, are conducted as well as inter-college competitions are conducted which help in staying students active in life. Inside the campus, there are certain restrictions also. Various social, cultural, and sports activities are conducted in the campus.
