Lords Universal College: Academics, Campus Life, and More

Lords Universal College is a well known college in Mumbai, particularly famous for law but, also offers various other courses such as BMS, BBA, B.Com, etc. Despite of using new traditions they follow the old school tradition of schools and colleges which makes them unique from others. The campus life of the college is minimal neither that exciting nor lesser. Also, the environment of the college is sustainable; everyone is helpful and friendly with each other. Talking about the college infrastructure there are modern technologies used for better learning of students and comforts.

The course BMS, (Bachelors of Management Studies) is well known business course in all over the world. Since I was in 10th, I had decided to do degree in BMS. As I completed my HSC and got only 60% so I applied in various colleges for BMS but since my percentage was this low, Lords Universal College was the only one college that offers me the recommendation letter so without any second thought I decide to take admission in this college. Talking about the admission process of the college it is very easy and walk-in admission process without any complications. Talking about exams there are total 6 semester in BMS divided into 2 categories each year which is internal and external. Talking about preparation the college prepares well for the examination by providing question banks to the students so that they can prepare well for the exams.

The fees structure of Lords Universal College is very suitable for everyone. The overall fees of the course are under Rs. 50,000 so that everyone can afford. There are no other fees or charges applicable for students since everything is included in the college fees it. The students also get discount depending on their eligibility. Since I belong to BMS course I don't have any scholarship opportunity in my college for this course.

The college faculty is very helpful to every student. There are different professors assigned to every particular subject in the course. Talking about the background of faculty members, the eligibility criteria of hiring in college they should be professional in a particular subject. The method of teaching is by providing ppts, question banks, using charts, using personal pointers, taking debate, using smart board, etc. The ratio of the teacher & students is divided equally 50-50 in the college. Taking about my bonding with the faculty members, they are very helpful to me. The thing because of which I feel I'm blessed in the college is that I got professors who don’t look to a student only as a student but as their own child.

Since I am in a last year of my college I'm not aware of the placement cell yet, but I have been informed that the placements will be held between our internals and externals exam. The college conducts a Google form and circulates them in the groups so that they can calculate the ratio of students who are interested in placements from college. As I got to know the package offered by my college is nearly 4-7 LPA.

Since the campus is very small the college doesn't provide any residential facilities to the students because the maximum number of students who are in the college lives in Mumbai and that's why there's no hostel or anything provided by college.

The college structure is very minimal there's no advance technologies used in the college it's very minimal. Also, the campus of the college has only one quadrangle which will be around 3-4 square feet where the college organises their events. There are facilities like library, science lab, computer lab, etc. for the students and accessible to everyone on the pass. The college is famous for their sports competition which is held every year in the month of February.

Talking about the overall experience at Lords Universal College, the campus life has treated me well I can't complain about the campus life even if I want to it's been great joyful 3 years of college. Talking about the crowd of the college, it is very descent since the college is located in Gurgaon. The maximum crowd of the college is from South Bombay so the crowd is typically sobo crowd. There's no club near the college but there's a theatre known as Topical Mukta A2 Cinema which is just behind the college. For the extracurricular activities, the faculty organises the sports, quiz text, debate competition, etc. for the brain storming of the students. Also, there are various events that are organised in the college and the mega event of the college is known as AAGAZ, where people from various colleges come. My experience with Lords Universal College has been the greatest so far.
