Overall Rating
The infrastructure of Guru Nanak University is very good as there is greenery across the campus but the academic facilities were average. I chose this university because of my senior's suggestion. This university offers great facilities with respect to it fee structure.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning as I was interested in software engineering and Artificial Intelligence has a great scope in the near future. You should at least have 60% marks in your intermediate to get admission in this university. There are 8 semester exams, 16 midterm examinations, 16 internal lab exams, and 8 external lab examinations. Sometimes the students may feel hectic due to the examination schedule as there won't be sufficient time for studying
Rs. 1,20,000 for a year and Rs.10,000 as admission fee is to be paid while joining the university. There is reimbursement for EAMCET rankers and upto 100% fee cancellation by government for SC/ST categories.
 

Faculty Rating
There are different faculties for different semesters. The faculty are well educated who have completed their post graduation in their respective fields. Most of the teachings are done through PPTs. The teacher to student ratio is 1:50. My experience with the faculty is very good as I am an extrovert and tries to interact with faculty.
 

Placement Rating
There is a placement cell at Guru Nanak University. The cell collaborates with top companies and makes them offer placements at our university. Students will have a pre placement training which makes them prepared for the placements. Google, Capgemini, Deloitte, and Tata Consultancy Services visit the university for recruitment. Average package is 4 LPA and highest is 25 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Guru Nanak University has a hostel for students. There are 3 blocks of hostel. Each block may contain 200 rooms with 3 beds per room. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are separate. The mess food is decent. The hostel fee is Rs. 98,000 per year. The hostel doesn't allow smoking or drinking. the hostel closes by 9:30 PM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are number of academic blocks in the campus, which are uniquely built, and surrounding by lush greenery. The campus, size is of about 22 acres The campus has a library, labs, and seminar halls with a seating capacity of 300. There is an auditorium with a seating capacity of 500. 5 canteens have decent food and basic groceries. There is a medical block in the campus for basic medication. Transport facility is available. Security is all around the campus. The university has a few good hangout places. The classrooms contain projectors and screens.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is decent. The university crowd is huge as compared to 2 other campuses are also beside us. There are clubs but these clubs are lesser known by the students. The university conducts quizzes and sports competitions. A Brumous Fiesta fest is conducted every year. Hackathon events are also conducted. My experience at the campus is okay. Although, at the end of the day it's better than other universities in this tier in Hyderabad.
