Life in GACC Indore: Experienced Teaching Staff

Overall Rating
GACC Indore is good for pursuing B.Com if you wish to prepare for any government exams or other exams, as there is no issue of attendance. The teachers are well experienced and supportive. Overall, it is a good college, if you want to pursue any Bachelors degree.
 

Academics Rating
I have done B.Com from this college, as I had to prepare for government exams. Admission process is simple, you need to register and fill the college’s name in choice. Once you are selected, you need to go for document verification. This course has yearly exams and some assignment has to be submitted by the students. Exams are also not so difficult and one can easily pass by learning basic things about the subjects.
Fee is very low as it is a government college. Fee of B.Com for a year is Rs. 1,500 only. For three year, it is Rs. 4,500. Exam fee has to be paid while enrolling for final exams that is around Rs. 1,900.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is well experienced and supportive. They are knowledgeable personalities with a lot of experience in teaching. You need to be patient while approaching them and they will help you with your queries if you behave in good manner. Teachers are polite and humble. Usually, most of the teachers are old. Their teaching method is also good. During Covid, teachers conducted the online classes very well.
 

Placement Rating
As I have done B.Com, there were not much placements. Students pursuing this course most often do not go for placements as they opt for higher studies.
 

Hostel Rating
No, the college does not provide hostel facility.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure of GACC Indore is good. The college has a garden and parking area. It has cricket and volleyball grounds, which are big in size. The college has its own library and computer lab as well. Different departments have different staff rooms. There is a distinct building for MBA as well. College does not have a canteen. It is situated at the Bhawarkua Square, which is very near to bus stop.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. Festivals like Holi, Navratri, etc. are celebrated by students and teachers. There are NCC and NSS activities. Students actively participate in these activities. Annual function also takes place. Crowd of the college is good and you can easily make many friends. Sports events are organized by the college. My overall experience was very good. Students are supportive to each other and help each other. Ragging is prohibited.

    I took admission to this college in 2013-14 session to pursue BBA. Overall I can say that my graduation ended up with really good memories and learning. The college is very renowned with the plus point of extremely knowledgeable and experienced faculties.
