Honest Views on OP Jindal University: Educations, Events, & Infrastructure

Overall Rating
I've been in this university over 8 months. One of the benefits of the university is that has affordable fee structure. The syllabus of the university is also good as it follows National Education Policy. In the future, it can help students in enhancing their skills if the university management forms some clubs and societies.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Bachelor in Technology in the field of Metallurgical & Material Engineering. Eligibility demands just 12th passed and basic knowledge of your chosen field. To say about the frequency of exams, there is an exam after every 3 to 6 months termed as mid semester or end semester.
Year wise, I've to pay around Rs. 2,55,000 tuition fee, hostel fee, mess fee, and everything. In a semester, I've to pay around Rs. 1,23,000. The scholarship amount depends on the percentage one scores in semester exams.
 

Faculty Rating
Ratio of faculty with student in OP Jindal University is 2:9. There are various experienced and well educated teachers, professors, and HoDs, with a good background and proper knowledge. The methods are all modern and advanced like digital educational system mostly. The ability of problem solving is also better. One can easily bond with the teachers with their good behavior and ability to reach their maximum potential like teachers can see through it and make you a better man to lift upto.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, the university helps students in getting placements. There is moderation in this arena. The highest package is of 33 LPA average package is 3 LPA. There is development cell also to help the students to get through it and achieve highest potential.
 

Hostel Rating
I've also been a hostler in OP Jindal University. The hostel charges including mess charge and laundry, so overall it's Rs. 48,000 per semester. We have separate hostel for both boys and girls. We have one mess for boy’s hostel and one mess for girl’s hostel. Mess food is also better. I've liked the hostel environment here.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus academic blocks relies of high quality of steel beams. Campus is all total of 40 acres. The classroom has fans, AC, and digital black boards. There is also library with 40000 books. Various labs, seminar hall, and auditorium known as MP hall are present in the campus. It also provides all the facilities like sports, medical, transport, and high security. My favorite part is the field area.
 

Campus Rating
The campus life is average. The university has mostly local crowd. Most of the students are from nearby places only. There are various clubs and centers like innovation center, tech club, sports club, etc. There is an annual fest termed as Technorollix.
