RIT Visakhapatnam's Placement Training Programs

I chose this institute because of placements. I feel good for joining in this institute because it provide placement training from 1st year itself.

I chose Computer Science & Engineering because of my interest in coding. I joined in this institute through AP EAPCET rank. Based on the rank, we will get seat here. If we don't get seat, we can join through management quota. Talking about exams, there are 2 semester exams in a year. Each semester has 2 midterm exams. Course curriculum is so relevant to further placement preparation. This course covers all the subjects, which is helpful for placements.

Tuition fee for management students is Rs. 1,20,000, Tuition fee for Non-management students is Rs. 61,000 Additionally, campus recruitment training is Rs. 5,000 per semester value added course Rs. 3,000 per year. University and NBA fee is Rs. 4,800 per year combined. Semester exam fee is Rs. 1,500. Government scholarships are eligible for this institute.

Faculty members are supportive. They help us to clarify doubts in and out of the classroom. Faculty are qualified professors and associate professors. They use both blackboard and PPTs in the classroom as per need. Some teachers are good in explanation with real world examples. Teacher to student ratio is good as they are always available to students. I like few faculties who guide me in various situations and explain concepts in an easy way which are hard for me to understand.

Placement training is given to students from first year onwards. There is a special program in 3rd years, where there are DSA sessions for better interview preparation. This year, companies such as Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, Cognizant, Catalog, Juspay, etc. visited our campus and selected students. Highest package offered is 12 LPA and average package is 5 LPA. I have placed in Tech Mahindra, before any placement, it gives company specific training for us.

Our institute has hostels for both girls and boys. Hostels have AC facility. There are regular checkups in rooms for well maintenance. Hostel food is ok. Students are not allowed to go out after 8 PM. There are separate hostel for both boys and girls. There is an availability of medical facilities.

Campus has separate blocks for each department and has separate block for 1st year students. Classrooms have a seating capacity of 150 students along with digital boards and Wi-Fi connections. There is one main library and department wise libraries. Main library has all the facilities like vast number of books, computer, and Wi-Fi availability. There is seminar hall with capacity of 1500 to 2000 students. There is a cricket ground, basketball court, and an indoor stadium to play games. We have one main canteen and small canteens in few blocks. There is availability of institute buses for every route. My favorite place in institute is bus parking area where we just chill after institute.

My campus life is full of adventures. I enjoy a lot here along with my academics. There are different student clubs and all such as entrepreneurship cell, Arts Club, geeks for geeks student’s corner, google developer groups students cell, NCC and NSS units. I am an NCC cadet, where I actively participated in various events. There are cultural fests and technical fests such as Spuritam, Hackfest, codathon, etc. These technical fests are conducted every 2 months. My campus life is full with studies, enjoyment with friends in institute festivals, class bunks, active participation in extracurricular activities through NCC.
