Overall Rating
I chose this university over others because this university is near to my hometown. Overall, it is also good. Shri Shahaji Chhatrapati Mahavidyalaya Kolhapur offered good education to the students. This university also provide other courses also like Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts. This university has huge student intake, which is 300 students per course.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen the Bachelor of Arts course in this university. I chose this because my marks are not sufficient to get the admission here. eligibility criteria is quite simple for admission. Applicant must have completed their 12th board examinations from a recognized board. Exam pattern is semester pattern exam. In one academic year, two semesters are held. Exam or curriculum is good for the students real life challenge.
My fee for the Bachelor of Arts course is Rs. 1,000 per year. Maharashtra government provides scholarship to the students who get admission from reserved category under scheme of MAHADBT scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members or the teachers are good to the students.The are very supportive to students not only in the study purposes but also in other problems also. Method of teaching is more theoretical based rather than the practical based. Problem-solving ability of teachers is good. Their bonding with students is also good. They provide study tips and exciting techniques, which helps student to crack exams. Overall teacher to student ratio is good.
 

Placement Rating
Placements are minimum in numberless students get placement from campus interviews. On average 2 Lakh Per Annum is given.
 

Hostel Rating
I have not opted to the university hostel but I can give information about these. Girl’s and boy’s hostels are different. Mess food is average. In one room of hostel, 4 students stay.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Campus of my university is compact. As the university is old, campus also looks like building old times. University is located at Dasra Chauk, Kolhapur. Campus is fully well connected with the Wi-Fi. University is well equipped with the library, labs, seminar halls, and auditorium. Canteen is ok. Food quality is also average. Security is good. Whole university campus is secured with the CCTV cameras. Overall, university experience is good.
 

Campus Rating
My overall campus life is good. Crowd in the university is huge.. In university, extracurricular activities are also there. Annually, one sport event is held in university. There is gathering for the students. All these things enhance the student’s skills. Sometimes, some fests are also arranged by university. Some hangout places are also near the campus where students can also spend their time. Some of the famous places are Rankle Lake, Panhala Fort, New Palace, Jyotiba Temple, etc.
