Overall Rating
My overall experience in De Paul Arts and Science College Edathotty is excellent college. The college is focuses more on studies rather than program. But it also conducts programs for the students’ enjoyment. There are functions like college day, union day, Graduation day, arts day, sports day, etc. I chose this college because of the college gives more importance to the studies, which makes the college different from the other colleges. The faculties in the college are also very friendly. The college comes under Christian management so Christmas celebrations will be good.
 

Academics Rating
The course that I have chosen is Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA) Honors. I chose to this course because I wanted to become a software engineer after graduating this degree is will go for masters. The admission criteria is like students should have more than fifty percentage in their PUC and for taking BCA it should have learned Mathematics The college not only provides BCA but also B.Com and BA courses. There will be six-semester exam and two internals in every semester and model exams also.
In every semester, fee will be more than Rs. 20,000. There is exam fee every year. University fee in first year is Rs. 4000 and in remaining semesters, it is Rs. 3,000 and program fee is Rs. 3,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members are well trained and experienced. Each and every faculty in the college is friendly with the students. They can clear doubts of the students. They conduct monthly counseling classes. They use advanced methods for teaching like PPT, whiteboards, etc. They will also make sure that every student is listening in the classes. The teacher to student ratio is also good. I would give 9 out of 10 to the faculty of this college.
 

Placement Rating
The placements offered here are pretty good. Most of the students are getting placement with a good package. The average package will be like 7 Lakh Per Year and the highest package will be 12 Lakh Per Year. It is also conducting placement training and soft skill training every week that helps the students to prepare for their interviews and let them know how to handle a work. I have seen many seniors getting placement from the college. It is giving placement to good companies like Infosys, etc.
 

Hostel Rating
The college also provides hostel facility to the students. there is separate hostel for boys and girls. The infrastructure of the hostel is excellent. the students who got admission in sports quota will get free hostel. The facilities provided by the hostel are also good. It has well maintained blocks and rooms. The hygiene in the kitchen area as well as the serving areas is best. The timing for the hostel is like students can stay out of the hostel until 8:30 AM.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is advanced and well developed. It has also maintained the college area very well. Most of the classrooms in the college are having a capacity of 60 students. Each course has different blocks and different floors. The college also provides a well-maintained and well-organized library with 24 hours Wi-Fi connection. The lab is also well maintained. It is providing advanced technology in labs. The college also has a big auditorium and a seminar hall for conducting programs.
 

Campus Rating
The overall experience in De Paul Arts and Science College Edathotty is good. Most of the time, the college will be crowded but no one will ever disturb any other. If someone feels like they are facing any issue, they can contact their respective mentor or advisors. The college has number of clubs with several activities and programs, which will help the students for building self-confidence. The main program conducted in the college is Arts day. During Arts day, most of the students will be engaged as well as faculties also. My experience in this college is pretty good. I am never disappointed for choosing this college
