Government College of Engineering and Research Pune established in the year 2009. This Institute is situated in IT hub of Maharashtra Pune. This college is a government engineering institute. This college is approved by All India Counsel for Technical Education. The college is situated in pollution free environmental area. I join this Institute because the profile all kind of training, placement, Sports, health, transportation. This college is having own Research centre so it helps in teaching methodology. I join this Institute because they are so many IT companies are situated in Pune and we can get placed in any of the IT company because they provide all kind of placement support.

I completed B.Tech in computer Engineering. I joined through MHTCET entrance exam. For eligibility of this intense exam you most have to clear 10th and intermediate exam or equivalent from recognised board. From other state candidate you most have to clear JEE main with good rank. They provide B.Tech courses like automobile engineering, civil Engineering, Computer engineering, electronics and communication engineering, instruments and control engineering. Mechanical engineering. The course fees are very low because this collages and government received the course fees are Rs. 24,500.

Our Branch having experienced teacher with good technical knowledge. Dr. S. U. Ghumbre is our HOD of our department. He is very humble person. But sometimes there is shortage of lecturers so they hire some contractual teachers. But the contractual teachers also are very good. They faculties are very strict in study. They clear our doubts in neat and clean way.

In 7th semester student get eligible for placement support the college provides all kind of support like industrial level training on software related course. This college average packages 3 LPA and highest package is 16 LPA. Most of the service based company like TCS, Wipro visit for requirements. Many internship on software related course are available in our institute. You can apply through on campus or you can apply through off Campus also for job and placement.

The hostel admission fees is Rs. 550 and they take Rs. 5000 as annual hostel fees for both boys and girls. The food quality is good, They provide all kinds of food like veg and nonveg. In hostel we can celebrate festivals like Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja. In special days they provide special food. But the hostel is not having wi-fi facilities. All rooms are 3-4 sharing.

The institute is having hostel for both boys and girls, Gymkhana (gym club), There is 1 library where all branch's book are available. Before this you have to register in library institute is not having big campus because they provide only engineering courses. But the campus has all types of facilities like Health, banking. There is a Marathi bhasa adhikari house. The labs and rooms are in good condition.

Academic life is Very good but in sports they didn't provide so many facilities. We only avail the facility in sports time. The institute is majorly focus on only study cause all who are joined this institute are depends upon this institute. Every year college conduct study tour to tech companies which helps to learn something on new technology. They manage this college in good way.
