KL University Hyderabad Admission Process and Criteria

The university is preferred over others because of the 100% placement rate and well qualified faculty. Also being a deemed university the chance of increasing my CGPA is easy. KL University, Hyderabad provides great infrastructure with smart classrooms and variety of teaching aids. But the university is very strict and there is no room for excess enjoyment in the campus. Sports competitions and fests are conducted regularly and all the festivals are celebrated in the campus.

The course I have chosen provides most number of jobs in the market. The eligibility criteria is to either write the KL Entrance exam and get under 10K rank or get 95% marks in the 12th Boards or get 90 percentile in JEE Mains. The admission process is very smooth and easy and coordinates very well. In-semester exams are conducted every 2 months including the in-semester lab exams. Immediately after the 2nd in-semester examination, the end semester exams continue including the end semester lab exams. The university exams are very easy to score therefore university focuses more on the skill development during the course.

The yearly fee at KL University is Rs. 2,70,000. The semester fee is Rs. 1,35,000. This is just the tuition fee. Other fee like Training fee, certification fee, and Exam fee are needed to be paid during the course. Admission fee at KL University is Rs. 10,000 that is needed to be paid during the admission process.

At KL University most of the faculty is well qualified doctorates with more than 15 years of teaching experience. Most of them have completed their Ph.D in IIT, IIIT, and NIT’s. The smart classrooms have many teaching aids including smart boards, discussions, open air classrooms, video exercises, etc. Every 20 students have one faculty member as their mentor. Every faculty is very polite and easily approachable during university hours and also during holidays. They are very supportive in nature.

There is 100% placement rate in the campus. The training cell supports students to apply for all internships they are eligible for and also call in for many guest lecturers that are useful for the campus recruitments. Companies like Google, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, Apple, and more recruits the students from KL University. Average package of the university is about 8 LPA and the highest is 52 LPA.

KL University offers great infrastructure. Every class capacity is 66 students. Every classroom has smart teaching aids like projectors, speakers, and Wi-Fi. KL University has a small cafeteria and a relatively small library. Library contains about 6000 books of all types. There are 4 Computer labs with seating capacity of 2000 students. The university has Indoor and outdoor sports facilities. A doctor and a psychologist are available at the campus every day. University has less open areas but filled with great infrastructure. It also has an auditorium with a capacity of accommodating 400 students. The university also has proper security measures for the safety of students.

My experience at KL University is above average. University imposes very strict rules. There are 8 clubs in the campus and hopeful there will be more in coming days. I am part of the sports and Journalism club. There are technical and cultural events every month and fests at the end of every semester. The annual festival is Viwentiaa. Sports competitions are also held annually in the university. The university crowd is increasing in every passing academic year. My overall experience is above average here.
