SRMU Lucknow: Top Recruiters and Packages

My experience in the university is quite good. Factors that made me choose this particular university is because it’s near to my house. I think this university provides students with quality education. The facilities in SRMU Lucknow are quiet average though.

The course that I chose is Bachelor in Computer Application (specialization) in collaboration with IBM with Artificial Intelligence & Data Science. The motive for enrolling in this course is my interest in AI. The eligibility criterion is that you have to pass 12th standard with at least 50% marks. Is no such entrance examination needed to get admission here. There are three internal tests in every month. The academics are good as they help us to be prepared for real life challenges.

The admission fee is of Rs. 1,000. The tuition fee is Rs 10,0000. In the first year, you have to give Rs. 5,000 for caution money. Financial aid is given to students who are from economically weaker sections or belong to backward categories like SC and ST. There are special discounts for army wards and student who have given CUET exam.

The faculty in the campus is average. They can be much more approachable though. They teach using blackboards and there are group discussions as well. The problem solving abilities of facility is quite average. The teacher to student ratio is 1:60. My experience and bonding with the faculty members is okay.

The placement cell of SRMU Lucknow is quite active. Placement drill take place in our university the placement cell to help students acquire a job in the industries. The cell also trains students regarding interviews and placements. Recruiters from the companies like TCS, Woodrock, IBM, and many more visit the campus. The highest package offered to the student is 25 LPA and the average is 10 LPA.

The university offers residential facilities. The rooms are in single, double, and triple occupancy. Facilities are quiet average. The girls and boys hostel are separated. About mess, food is average. The timing for meals are: 7:30 AM to 9 AM for breakfast, lunch is at 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 5 PM to 6:00 PM for snacks and dinner is from 7:30 PM to 9 PM. The hostel fee depends upon the type of room you are taking. If you are taking 3- seater occupancy room, then it is Rs. 75,000, for 2 seater it is Rs. 90,000, and for 1 seater, it is 1 Lakh. The in-timings are 7:30 PM for girls and 9:30 PM for boys. My personal experience is quite average.

There are total four academy blocks and the infrastructure needs to be improved. There are total five libraries for different courses. There is one common library. In every building, there is one conference hall. There is one canteen that is open till 7:30 PM. The sports and medical facilities are quite good. It provides transportation to the students and security is quite good.

The campus life is very good. It depends upon your company and university is always buzzing out with people. There are clubs like Sur Jhankar club for singing, BTB club for dance, club for anchoring. There are events in every month. There is an annual fest ‘Anubhuti’, fresher’s party for the freshers, and technical fests as well. My experience is quite good.
