About GEC Modasa: All the Aspects

Overall Rating
My experience at GEC Modasa is excellent. This College conducts a lot of activities for the students. I chose this College because this College is near my house. This College is best for you but the city life here is average.
 

Academics Rating
I chose Engineering field because I am passionate about technology and this College is best fit for me. For admission in College, you have to score good marks in GUJCET exam and in your class 12th boards as well. The admission process takes place through Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC). The exams will not be that tough, if you attend the classes regularly. The syllabus gets updated according to the market requirements.
The fee of B.Tech in Information Technology is Rs. 1,500/- per year. The tuition fee is same for the students of all categories. At the time of admission, the students need to pay Rs. 1000/- to the ACPC directly.
 

Faculty Rating
All the faculty members of GEC Modasa are very helpful and highly qualified. Some of the teachers have done Ph.D. The teachers also give task to the students that will help in their personality building. They will also give chance to the students to solve their problems in the group discussion. My bonding with the teachers is very good.
 

Placement Rating
Our College also has placement cell which helps students to secure good placements. Major companies such as Adani Power, L&T Technology, TatvaSoft, etc. If you students are not able to secure off campus jobs then they will get a chance to take part in the placement fair which is held at GTU main campus Ahmedabad.
 

Hostel Rating
The College also provides hostel facilities to the students. There are separate hostel for girls and the boys. If the students are not able to travel from long distance then they can live in the hostel. The hostel fee is around Rs. 1,750/- per year.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The campus of this College is huge. There is different building for different departments. The sports facilities are available such as Cricket ground, Kabaddi ground, Volleyball court, etc. The campus has library with all kinds of books and canteen, etc. The classrooms are well equipped with projectors and technology labs are also available in the College. The security guards are present at the gates as well. Overall, the infrastructure of the College is above average.
 

Campus Rating
My campus life at GEC Modasa is average. The campus crowd is less as compared to other Colleges. They conduct several tech and non tech events for the students and also organise hackathons.

    In my opinion for the middle-class girls and boys who can't afford the high fees to pay for college they should try this government colleges the government colleges provide government Hostels for that help the students who come from outer state or who's home far from college and that hostel are affordable less fees than PG's....
