St. Joseph's College of Engineering is located in Sriperumbudur in Tiruvallur district and it is an Anna University Affiliated college which is established in 2001. It is best college for choosing sports and academics not a better choice for placements and other activities and fees structure is low for some of the peoples who scored better in 12th and economically backward. The admissions are done through the Anna University TNEA counseling and management quota. I got seat through Anna University counseling because I am sports person. So I loved this college because of sports training and coaching.

The academics it is well and good. It is an affiliated institution by Anna University Chennai and the syllabus is fully made up by the Anna University and the exams are also conducted by Anna University. The syllabus of my regulation is slightly updated but now a days new regulations is fully updated and it help us to prepare for the interviews also. Major unwanted papers are removed from the syllabus and updated papers are included in the syllabus by the Anna University and college also has the talented faculties to provide coaching and other project developments also.

The faculties are well knowledgeable persons and they are updated for syllabus and they are helpful for development of projects and my sports activities too. They are very punctual and strict in the classes. Some of the facilities are very friendly. They are helping us to develop our knowledge to out of campus placements because there is no placement provided in this college.

The worst experience I have got in this college is placements. There is no good placement in this college. The university topper is placed in just 2 lakhs per annum. There is no good training given for placement and there is no company coming for recruitments in this college.

There is no good hostels are provided in this college. Some of the rooms are good and some of rooms are not in proper condition. Food is average quality. Water in the college is not good it gives itching after bathing. But separate hostel facilities available for both boys and girls and canteen also available.

Infrastructure wise average because the college consists only in 12 acres of land its simple structure but have sufficient play ground to accommodate all types of games. Auditorium is also in our college. Hostel is also in college campus.

Campus life is also average as a hostel student. If you were a day scholar you can consider the college and I had stayed in this hostel because of Kabbadi career and some of personal reasons. I got good friends in college life and friendly faculty are also been my friends. The campus life is average than other students studied here.
