SIRT Bhopal From Student’s Perspective

Overall Rating
Overall Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal is an above average institute. Institute provides every facility that is required for a student for their development. I chose this institute because of its low fee and good environment as compared to other institutes. All the teachers are experienced in teaching and dealing with students. I will recommend this institute for the students who don't have enough money for big institutes but want to pursue quality education.
 

Academics Rating
I am doing B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering. From the start I wanted to become an engineer. There is no strict eligibility criterion for taking admission in it, anyone can take admission. Admission process is little slow according to me as it took around 4-5 hours for my admission. This institute is good in terms of academics and provides best education.
My course fee is Rs. 60,000. For registration during admission one need to pay Rs. 1,500. Fee differs in amount according to the given concession and scholarships. The institute also provides scholarship for OBC and SC/ST Students.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty in this institute is good. Except for some teachers most of the teachers are experienced and have high knowledge about their subjects. But some of them do not know how to connect with students. Most of the teachers use blackboard for teaching. Teachers also conduct group discussions once in a week or during lab classes. Student to teacher ratio need to be improved by hiring more teachers. Overall my experience is good with the teachers.
 

Placement Rating
This institute have average placement of around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Highest campus placement was 11 LPA for 2024’s batch. There is no actual placement cell in this institute; the faculty provides classes for communication that help students to learn communication skills required for placement.
 

Infrastructure Rating
There are 3 blocks in the institute, MBA Block, Pharmacy Block, and Engineering Block. But campus is not that big as I expected. Institute has facilities like library, sports complex, gym, seminar hall, canteen, and medical room. Subject specific labs are also there. Both the playground and canteen are small in size. Overall campus is average not very big and fascinating. My favorite place is the institute’s lawn because it is lush green.
 

Campus Rating
Campus Life of this institute is overall good. There are many things to do other than study. There are around 3000 students in the institute. For extracurricular activities, clubs like music club, sports club, communication club, tech club, and many more are there. Institute also organizes various events for students and there is an annual fest called ‘Techno Saga’ as well. My overall experience in Sagar Institute of Research and Technology, Bhopal is very good.

    Overall, SIRT is one of the institutes. The curriculum for all the branches of B.Tech is really good but for the B.Tech (EX-Electrical & Electronics Engineering) branch, it the environment is very competent.     You cannot compromise on academics and create a name for yourself. It is because the college has proved its mettle in academics. SIRT provides courses at very decent fee structure. To make the value of money, every student gets decent amount of attention from faculties and management. the college is among a top choice not just by the students of Bhopal but from students of various other cities too...     The affordable fee structure made me choose SIRT. The environment is student friendly and we get some relaxation in attendance if the reason is genuine. The teachers also support and are friendly too. The library books are also free of cost and this helps a lot.... Read Full Review
